No air-conditioning, extractor fans in bathrooms didn't work and windows didn't open! Utterly gross. Second toilet didn't flush and not fixed when pointed out.

Pros: Windows opened,.air conditioned room with settings, views over the sea Poole to the right and I>O>W> to the left, all ways some thing going on.
Location: Must go to the Crab restaurant just down the road.book first.
Brilliant position for the air show, took place right in front of the hotel, swimming pool and spa extras all very good even the outdoor pool is heated recommended for all,no need to look else where.

The hotel was very spacious and the outside pool was delightful. Our room was comfortable and the little extra touches didnt go unoticed . Very helpful staff and safe off road parking. Lovely summer break .

Great family hotelPosted Aug 9, 2015
The customer service was superb. The staff always had a smile, are always keen to help, and had no trouble going out of their way to see your experience is a good one. The hotel was pretty dated in parts, but for a truly family friendly holiday, I couldn't have picked anywhere better.

Staff really nice and helpfulPosted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Size of rooms, even bathroom spacious
Cons: The rules at the indoor pool being imposed. It says no jumping, no ball games and no kids unsupervised. All these happened while I was in pool and ar
Location: Right by beach, great location apart from steep walk back but that's a problem all the hotels have. No need to use car the whole time we were there.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, always smiling. Spa very disappointing but Sue and Michelle noticed I was upset about this and were very sweet, that was very nice and showed staff cared. Hotel itself very beautiful with big ceilings, ornate decoration, love the ladies powder room. It just needs some tender loving care as lampshades broken and pipes hanging down in corridor. I would love to see it in all its glory again.

Nice comfortable hotelPosted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Lovely comfortable room with a wonderful sea view.
Location: Right on the front overlooking the sea and close to everything.
Excellent position, close to everything. We were upgraded to a sea view room with a small balcony. Very comfortable. Lovely breakfast and an even nicer dinner menu. Reception staff were very helpful. Our only bad comment is that the 'free' wifi was not very strong wherever you were in the hotel..needs to be strengthened.

Nice hotel, customer service training required.Posted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: The hotel is generally very good. The reception staff at check-in were very welcoming, polite and efficient. The room was nice and very comfortable.
Cons: We had afternoon tea and the fillings of the sandwiches were frozen. No apology. There was broken glass in the toilet. Dirty broken high-chair.
Location: Excellent beach with lots to do in Bournemouth.
Overall my wife, 2 year old son and I had a lovely stay in Bournemouth for 4 days. The hotel is generally very nice with good food and facilities. It is situated right on the sea front, only a few minutes walk in to Bournemouth. The hotel does have a few issues with some staff. My wife and I had afternoon tea and the content of the sandwiches (salmon, egg and cucumber) were frozen. When I returned them, the waitress just said 'Oh, are they.' A simple sorry did not occur to her. There was a broken glass in our bathroom toilet when we arrived. We ordered room service on one evening and the porter took four visits to bring what we had ordered as he kept forgetting things. The toaster at breakfast required each piece of bread to go through about four times. If you stay here I am sure you will enjoy it as long as you remain relaxed about all the little details.
