Pleasant hotslPosted Aug 29, 2015
Got to the hotel St 1.30 am due to a late flight. Easy to find and parked the car underground. The spaces are a bit tight. The room is clean and smells fresh.

Comfortable stay in a good hotelPosted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff.
Location: A bit further from the sea-front and town centre than we would have liked and the walk back up the hill would not suit people with mobility problems.
Very busy on arrival and booking-in took some time. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Room clean and comfortable - if a little spartan! Breakfasts were very busy and we struggled to find clean tables and the servery required attention as dishes were left empty for long periods. Evening dinner menu was limited.

Modern Hotel ideally SituatedPosted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: Location and reasonable price.
Cons: The sign for the hotel was difficult to see from the road due to shrubbery. Could do with having a light or having another sign at front.
Location: Location is ideal for beach, pier, pavilion and shops as well as restaurants.
Everything went smoothly at both check in and check out. Staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean and quiet.

Nice hotelPosted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: clean and welcoming
Cons: the base under mattress makes it extra hard - not good for bad backs
Location: Close to The Pavillion and 2 Cinema's. plenty of shops for retail therapy. Beautiful sandy beach.
I stayed at this hotel with my teenage granddaughter for a theatre weekend. Easy access to entertainment, beach, shops and restaurants.

Functional and clean hotel.Posted Jul 24, 2015
Suited my stay for 3 nights as it was quiet yet quite close enough to walk to the sea front and shops. I didn't need facilities other than a clean room/shower, breakfast and parking. I was visiting family so was out every day.

Great hotel, great value, great locationPosted Jul 20, 2015
Hotel is very well situated to the town centre and the beach. Although it is rated as a 3 star but to us it felt like 5 star due the great quality of staff and the comforts and the cleanness. The breakfast was brilliant with good quality ingredients being used. The room (518) was very comfortable, quite and maintained to a very good standard.

Another great stay spoiled by (false) fire alarm!Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Breakfast - good quality ingredients, well cooked
Cons: Cleaner might visit our room!
Location: Well placed for Bournemouth centre
My wife and I stayed here (again) for two nights this last weekend to visit the BIC for a couple of concerts (Frank Valli and Gladys Knight). As usual, the room was comfy and well equipped with free wifi and a decent selection of TV channels. Huge walk-in shower/wet room in the bathroom with shower gel on tap. On this occasion, our rate included breakfast and the quality of the breakfast items was superb! Nice meaty sausages grilled until nicely brown, ditto the grilled bacon and the fried eggs had a lovely flavour to the yolks (locally sourced?). Seeded brown bread was very light and moreish, making excellent toast. Breakfast was superior in quality to most places we have stayed at and the hotel needs to be congratulated on that front. The only downers were: the maid didn't clean our room after our first night (of our two night stay), despite the fact that she was outside our room and watched us leave the hotel at 10:30am and we didn't return until 4:30pm (when she stood and watched us go back in)! What the hell was she doing all day??? Secondly, early in the morning on Sunday some idiots caused the fire alarm to go off by smoking (no doubt continuously) in their room at 4:45am. The entire hotel had to be evacuated as a result of the selfish behaviour of these morons! Still, they were slapped with a £75 fine for their trouble! Serves them right! We will continue to return here whenever we visit Bournemouth.
