Rooms were not as clean as they should be, the floors were so filthy that our feet were black on the bottom. Towels had blood stains on them, and there are no comforters on the beds.

Nice hotel on the parking lot at Kings Dominion

Great experience! Only concerns I had was that a roach was on the bed when we arrived and the pool didn't seem very clean. Otherwise its a nice hotel & we enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for your review narrating positives of your stay here. Please note we use Orkins PC services and usually have no roach etc. Often being an exterior door property during summer flying ones come in and are easy to get rid of. This is one of those Dixie things... hope we can overcome once mercury falls.We will however still have Orkin visit this issue thanks to your pointing out the problem.

Location, Location, Location

Pros: The entire staff was very friendly and professional.
Cons: Upgrade the rooms. Put a TV guide or menu in the rooms.
Location: King's Dominion is a short walk away.
Location was within a short walking distance to King's Dominion. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist when there was a problem. The front desk was very helpful and professional. The pool and pool-side bar was great. The room needed maintenance such as the bathroom door bottom hinge was off causing the door not to work properly and the fridge wasn't working. There was no bathroom mat, however the room was very neat and cleaned.

Worst experience of my life

My card was charged 3 times for the same room when I paid upfront on expedia. Upon checking in was given someone's room key and told that all they could do for me is put me in a room which was a down grade from the room I purchased. The room I was placed in was dirty and smelled. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had.

one night stay

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Kings Dominion but we stayed there to see a concert in Richmond. There's nothing really nearby, but it seemed like an ok area. My only complaint was that they charged me more then hotels.com said I would owe and tried to say there was nothing they could do about it. Luckily I called hotels.com and they called the hotel and made them refund me the difference. Also they changed names before our stay so it created a problem initially finding it. Room was clean. Basic amenities.

Good hotel for the price ($90)

For the price, this hotel was a win. It was so good to be right next to King's Dominion, the room was clean, good smelling, and the hardwood floors made it feel updated. The bathroom door barely locked (looked like someone had smashed the lock at some point) but overall we were happy. Water pressure in shower was awesome. Would stay here again
