Nice hotel, great price for the amenitiesPosted Oct 17, 2017
Pros: Beds, cleanliness, staff
Cons: Not much you can do about the proximity to the tracks. Ask for a room not facing the tracks when you check in.
Location: Kings Dominion. Check out Antique Village on route 301, Excellent.
I had to find a hotel quickly when my other lodging plans were cancelled. This hotel is very nice, new and clean and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. there is a great pool and gym. There are limited places to eat nearby, but more food choices are available one or two exits away. There is a small however, however. The hotel is situated next to a train track. I know some folks are charmed by the sounds of trains and their toots, but I would not recommend this hotel for light sleepers such as myself. I worked in the room during the day and the room actually shook at times, just like a minor earthquake. Still, for the money, the service and quality was great! I often stay at this chain and will continue to do so. Thank you.

Decent place to Crash After Kings DominionPosted Sep 28, 2017
Pros: Staff was friendly and the room was nice.
Cons: Not sure how to address the train issue short of sound deadening windows.
Location: Kings Dominion is across the street.
Overall nice hotel, but be warned that there is a train that goes right by the back. We had two trains go by in the wee hours of Sunday morning and it did not make for a good night's sleep.

I loved my stay at Country Inn & Suites. The breakfast bar had pleny of hot & cold options. Loved the indoor pool & whirlpool. The staff was very nice & the hotel was very clean. The 24 hour chocolate chip cookies was great. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!!!

Nice hotel, close activities.Posted Aug 31, 2017
Nice stay, room was clean & comfortable. Close to kings dominion was a plus for our family. Our only negative experience was not enough food at breakfast ran out very fast, & the room is not very accommodating for the amount of guest they have for breakfast.

Nice hotel across the street from Kings DominionPosted Aug 26, 2017
I was able to check in early (2pm). The staff was very friendly and it was very clean and quiet coming into hotel. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. I seen they had tickets to buy from Kings Dominion at the hotel. Also there is a shuttle from Kings Dominion that will pick you up and bring you back to the hotel. There is a 7/11 with a gas station and a BK right down the street. You don't have to travel to far to go out to eat at a restaurant, they have some down the road.
