Right security, that was great! No air conditioning or deliberately put it to malfunctioning, needs fresh air or smells around, no sufficient ventilation in the rooms or the one I was. However, there is room for improvement. Thank you

All went very smooth and staff was helpful Room was very small for three people but our 4 year old just fit on the small sofa chair so we made it work

I have arrived at night. Long time to check me in after a flight of about 7 hours although there was only me at the reception. Bathrooms are like since 1800 and I entered the floor is all wet(there is leak with this old equipment) and the cooler was as if it wasn't cooling so I was sweating at night therefore didn't sleep well, no free water to drink , no hand tissue available, the toilet is terribly placed in the bathroom, not enough space to sit well... The only good things about it are food, location (security and near all) and mainly friendly staff.

OK for the short stay passing through town. Wifi poor in the rooms so don't expect to download any larger attachments.

Great hotel in Bonanjo
Ibis hotel DOUALA always an enjoyable stay center location great outside seating are by the pool which is kept to a high standard. Great AC throughout the hotel. Lastly very helpful staff.

Comfortable stay in Douala
The rooms are older, but comfortable. The staff members in the restaurant area are very kind and helpful. I had a bit of a hard time with the WiFi working, but it ended up being ok. The bed is comfortable and it was relatively quiet even though I was near the elevator. The staff were very kind with helping me to print a few documents I needed.

Olivia Nankam, the hotel concierge, did an excellent job of organizing a tour guide and driver for the time I spent in Cameroon. She also was a tremendous help when I had to spend an extra night in Douala because Cieba Intercontinental cancelled my flight without notice. Also, Thomas, the Hotel’s airport shuttle driver, went out of his way to make my stay an enjoyable one. Both Olivia and Thomas are to be complimented for their excellent service.

Great find with all the necessities.
Fantastic hotel with great food and close to the airport. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms small but clean with everything you need. Wifi signal is a bit slow at times but was adequate. I’ll stay again!

Nice Hotel near to the commercial area in Douala.
The experience was excellent they pick me up from the airport to Hotel and drop me back next day on time that is very important, food was very good and they have a very nice and helpful staff.

Favorite hotel in Douala
I stayed in 3 different hotels in Douala, to test them. This was by far my favorite. The staff was friendlier, the kitchen and public areas welcoming, the food decent, the pool functional, the room was very clean and functional (tiny, though). The atmosphere was just more pleasant. I will be back.

Great hotel near the Center town
This is a great hotel in the Center town of Douala , Bonanjo, close to major banks ( Bicec)., and the post office. Hotel is very clean, with amazing staffs, always disponible, buffet breakfast was good. Room was not spacious but comfortable. Security was present at every time. I would recommend this hotel to everyone for a short stay.

A pleasant surprise ...
The hotel selection was a bit of an internet gamble as I had never been to Cameroun before. But the Ibis name was known to me in UK, and its position near coast was suitable. I was very pleased with my choice. I had no problems with checking in or out, considering my limited French. The room had everything I needed, and no less than I would expect in any good European hotel. Restaurant much better than expected, great breakfast buffet and lovely varied food each day, staff often changing their dress from smart uniforms to traditional dress, that was a nice touch. Recommend a visit to Limbe although a 2 hour journey. Although obviously a tourist, I felt very safe walking round marketplaces in Douala and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Rooms are a bit small but nice hotel
The rooms are a bit small and there were no toiletries provided, like you would find in most hotels. However, the hotel is nice and clean with a great decor. Food was okay.
