We had a nice and cosy stay at the hotel. We arrived late and the receptionist was very kind to us.

The old town is beautiful, and this is probably the best location to experience it.

Worth a visit

Pros: Clean, central
Cons: Parking was limited. Had to reserve a space in advance
Location: Cannot comment on things to do, but restaurants were conveniently located to hotel
Overnight stop, but hotel was clean and near restaurants.

Lovely hotel overall but not perfect.

Posted Sep 5, 2016 on Hotels
Very nice hotel with modern interior design and comfortable rooms. Easy walking distance to the city centre or up to the citadelle. Useful to have parking on site (but reserve it ahead as it is very limited, and costs extra). Breakfast was good even if it was rather pricy at €13 a head but a nice buffet. Our only complaint was the superior room we had (No 7 in the Pavilion) was on the ground floor with a window overlooking the car park and beside the main ventilators. A lovely room spoilt by being very dark and depressing, and too noisy if you opened the window. Hard to believe it was the same price as other superior rooms. Ask when you book to make sure you get the room you want.

Lovely hotel in a good location in Besançon.

Posted Aug 21, 2016
We were happy to arrive at the cobblestoned entrance to this lovely hotel. The staff made us feel very welcome and were always helpful in answering our questions. The hotel is located within an easy walking distance of the centre of town, which offers beautiful streets to explore. Also within easy reach is a stop for the number 27 bus that takes you to the Citadel, which is a must to visit whilst you are in Besançon.

Nice hotel in Besancon.

Cute little hotel nestled into the old town of Besancon. The receptionists were very helpful and got us settled very quickly. The room was not perfect but was good value for the cost. AC was a little weak and the room smelled a bit but we were comfortable and slept well.

Excellent Hotel / Great Value

Our major goal was to visit The Citadel and the Resistance Museum there. From helping me park the car to recommending places to eat, the staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
