Nice place to visit as the saying goes. But, I wouldn't want to live there. The people we met were very nice and very friendly. Lovely people.

State Fair in Douglas is price gouging at its best. Sadly every business uses it as an opportunity to raise prices.

This is a fantastic place if anyone is into Rail Fanning or train watching. You can meet so many train engineers at Penny’s Diner right at the hotel. Everyone, even the guests are the friendliest I have ever encountered.

Very old overpriced hotel . The woman who ran the front desk was very unprofessional allowing her very large dog to roam around to greet the guests was very uncomfortable. She had to finish her cigarette before she could help me was ridiculous.
