Fortissimo!

"The castle is dramatic in it's contruction and the tour well worth the time. The hotel is part of the fort itself and is old and charming. Some rooms are being updated, but ours was already good. Staff friendly and efficient. Parking easy."

"I read some really bad reviews of this place prior to coming. It's fine. Friendly welcome. Room was good for an edge of town motel style place. Only issue was a door that didn't fit properly, which seemed to be a common issue as other people were having trouble getting into their rooms too."

Great after first impressions

"Located in a not quite salubrious part of town, first impressions are mixed. However the owner is very welcoming (without any English being spoken) and the hotel has a rustic, individual charm. The room was quiet and clean, with a level of amenity to be expected. The highlight of the stay was the meal in the hotel restaurant - freshly cooked, local influence and great value. The owner was attentive and keen to please."
