No housekeeping at all the only day I got asked if I needed anything was Sunday I had already been there 3 nights. Limited lighting, TV didn't work properly the only thing I will say was great was the water pressure in the bathroom

The only down side was the proximity to the highway. The staff (Janet) was awesome. The place is dated but it was clean and cozy.

For starters it's very dated which I was made aware of by the desk when I checked in so knowing that I tried to look past it however it was very hard to do. The bed ding had numerous yellow and brown stains on it the closet door was broken and literally hanging off the hinge there was a drawer front missing from under the kitchen sink which was very unsightly, there is a huge draft coming in from the air conditioner in the bedroom and the heat in the bedroom did not work, also the television in the bedroom was smaller than my laptop or only about 13 in and the one in the living room was only about 19 so along with the wood paneling on the walls that made it very difficult to enjoy television. There was no door separating the bedroom from the living room which was also a little disappointing. The desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful or at least try to be as helpful as possible and accommodating I can say that but the accommodations themselves are definitely lacking and in desperate need of remodel and upgrades.

I love that this property is old style. The units are cozy, definitely no- frills which makes it affordable. It is ideally located around great restaurants and good shopping.

Far from fancy, but room rate was fair.
Price/accommodation ratio was fair. All bare essentials provided. Very slight smell of smoking. Though in a parking lot off of the highway, it is a convenient location.

We were just staying for one night there on our way to the outer banks . On the way back to PA we we were going to stay over night again. When we arrived it was raining the side walk to the place was flooded with water. We had to walk in water ankle deep to get into the door. And we were given the same room as coming down. The smell in that room was terrible. A couple in the next room was walking out said they couldn’t stay in their room. They called to complain and they told them to go down to the Heritage Hotel which you own also. So we called and they said we were to come down to the hotel also. Also my brother and his wife were to get a room there with us .. they couldn’t stay either. My husband is also handicapped. The experience was extremely terrible. When we got to the Heritage it was ten times better. You need to close the Inn at Lewes it isn’t fit for anyone to stay there!!!

Weekend stay
This was not an expensive rental so I didn't expect much. The bathroom was very clean and towels were really nice. The couch in the living room was dirty and very uncomfortable and the carpet was old and worn out. The kitchen area was not bad with a full size coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave and nice dishes.

Room smelled musty and masked with deodorizer. Loud wall air conditioner. Bathroom sink smelled of sewage every afternoon. Clean towels/ remodeled bath and shower Rug was stained throughout. Better lock needed, construction workers diring the day in the parking lot, did not feel safe

The hotel was not as advertised, the image of the exterior of the hotel was a deception. The interior were old tired, worn and soiled carpet, smelled old. Upon arrival we had to go to a partner hotel to check in which took far too long

This is an older property, but it was very nice having a living room, full kitchen, bed and bathroom to stay in. The two rooms had one AC unit mounted in the wall by the bed and it was rather loud. Luckily, the room also had an osculating fan to keep an air flow during the overnight hours. The table top and counters were clean, but slightly sticky.

The room could definitely use a Smart TV. The floors need to be replaced there are soft spots in the floors. Very nice for a couple to stay for the weekend. 4 MI from Rehoboth Beach. We enjoyed our stay for our anniversary

Not a cozy inn as described gross motel
This was a motel that looks like it was not updated since the 70’s. The carpets were disgusting and I didn’t even change clothes just slept fully dressed shoes and all because I wouldn’t put my feet on the floor. Very disappointed. Check-in was not even on site had to go to a hotel down The road. No one told us this until We got there and read the sign. Ugh gross!

We had to drive to a sister Inn to check in, but it wasn’t far, so it was not a problem. The service there was excellent! You just couldn’t have asked for friendlier people. Our room is super cute! It feels like a small apartment with a full kitchen, small table, couch, and separate bedroom and bathroom. At first the place had an odd smell, but once we turned on a fan and the air conditioning it smelled fresh. Overall great choice for the night and a few of our meals!

The hotel needs to update the rooms. The sofa was dirty with stains and the bathroom is rusty and the toilet had been used and not flushed which makes me think it was probably not cleaned. I stayed two days and there were not room service .

The room smelled; it seems like the bedding hadn’t been changed; I didn’t use the sofa, but it would have been filthy just to sit on. I used whatever bedding I could find from my car: a kid’s blanket, a coat wrapped in my beach towel as a pillow.

I just returned from my stay at The Inn at Lewes, and I thought it was a comfortable, clean and hospitable Inn. I slept well, was able to open windows for fresh sea air. In retrospect, I'd make reservations through the front desk. They have easier access to your information for your stay. I had a relaxing time and was able to get to the beaches without driving too far. Thank you.

I know I didn't book a 5 star hotel. I didn't expect such either. I've traveled a lot to many 2-5 star places. This place comes the second from the worst. I loved that the heating thermostat is in every room (living room, bedroom, bathroom). But the very dirty AC is only in the bedroom. I don't know when they cleaned it last but my old window AC was nowhere near that dirty when I didn't clean the filter for 3 years (I know I know.. I was young back then) The shower doesn't have hot water. Well, it does for about 5 minutes. The pots and pans are so scratched up that they are not usable. One of the plates were broken previously and glued together as if they expect us to use it that way. Huh? The rooms are so dark even with the light blocking curtains open. All the lamps have very dim yellow lights. The wifi password given is wrong. We never knew the exact checkout time. We thought it was 11 but the notice on the room said 10 am.

Very homey
Very kind people for both check in and check out. Nice small kitchen, you may want to bring aluminum foil. I managed to make surf and turf for dinner. Quiet location, close to many stores.
