Downtown Albuquerque.

Pros: Area was quiet and secure, however the quiet was due to lack of things to do.
Cons: Nothing the hotel could do.
Location: For a reasonably large community, little to do beyond the local pride of history. Not impressed beyond the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta.
Good location to events we were going to. Biggest drawback is the lack of restaurants in the area. Selection is limited to a few.

Came for the Balloon Fiesta

I booked a room with a King sized bed for my husband and I. When we arrived we were told the room we were getting had two double beds. I did not pay for that. There were no apologies just told that's what we get. We spent two miserable nights in one small bed with my husband constantly kneeing me in the back causing me to wake up frequently. Was not impressed.

Exceptional hotel in central locstion

This is a well run hotel, offering nice amenities and comfortable surroundings. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, and offer great views of the city. The restaurant and bar offer tasty dishes and expertly made cocktails. The fitness center was quite adequate and clean, and provided a good workout experience.

The location of the hotel was very convenient

Pros: I like the location of the hotel in relation to everything there is to do in the town
Cons: overall customer service.
Location: The balloon festival was a 10-15 minute drive as well as downtown Albuquerque.
I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel as much as i thought I would. For starters when I booked on Expedia i was supposed to get free parking. However, upon arrival I was told that I had to pay 16.00$ a day to park at the hotel which was very unexpected and displeasing. I also purchased breakfast through expedia for the hotel which was incredibly overpriced upon arrival to the hotel. In addition the A/C in the hotel room did not work and it was very muggy and humid in my room. Both nights I stayed with my fiancé and we woke up sweating. The second night I called the front desk to have someone come and look at the room. I left for 5 hours and when I returned the room was in the same condition. I called the front desk once more and I was told that the A/C was reset and that if i was still displeased they would send someone up with fan. I told them I would very much appreciate a fan if they could do so. Unfortunately no one ever brought a fan to my room and I did not purchase breakfast the second morning I was there. Overall I would not stay at this hotel again due to the poor service.

nice hotel, good location

Pros: excellent pool area
Cons: could do with a little updating.
Location: old town close and also near to airport
It was not up to the usual Hyatt standard, location was good but food was horrible.

Parent Get Away

First time on 12 years. We had a perfect view of the city and the balloons. We recommend room 1210 of you want the same. We will definitely make it back.

Nice time at Balloon Fiesta

Pros: The Staff.
Cons: The rooms could have been cleaned earlier. Should have texted housekeeping when room was available for cleaning. More coffee for the room
Location: That was the only real issue. Not much to do directly downtown had to drive. And the number of homeless street people did not make for safe walking.
The hotel was great because of a very welcoming and accommodating staff. The dining at the Forque Restaurant was very good. Having a Starbucks in the lobby was nice as well

Nice up dated hotel downtown

Hotel staff went the EXTRA mile . Concierge service was outstanding . Clean rooms with fast room service . The CLS transportation service and employees were very knowledgeable and reasonable considering it was Fiesta week . Not a lot of any attractions nearby but I found ithe hotel is centrally located for all sights . Only ate a late appetizer and drink in restaurant which I thought was $$$ pricey also bartender was aloof . This is the only complaint I would make on my 5 night stay .

More Money Doesn't Always Mean Better

Pros: Several enthusiastic young people who were very excited and helpful about the balloon fiesta- particularyly Austin! Very nice young man.
Cons: Lower price, up the ante with better ventilation, improved quality of toiletries, a continental breakfast.
Location: Bad location- far away from everything! Especially for the three 65+ ladies in our group.
Overbooked and overpriced. The HVAC unit is poorly designed and we were hot in October and there is only one vent to service the entire room. We called and really nothing improved. The bathrooms need exhaust vents so that you are not in a sauna. Sheets and comforter felt clammy. There should be something additional like a continental breakfast to make up for the starkness and parking was problematic with daily fees. Multiple people were angry about their rooms, overbooking and a wedding party was quite put out. Terrible location to walk for any meals or other entertainment. All reasonably priced eateries in their "galleria" close at 2pm or 5 pm.
