It was okay

Cigarette butts and ashes on window still when I checked in. When the front desk was notified, no concern for what was found. Even though the room and hotel was supposed to be non smoking. Black mold in the chaulking of the shower. Bath tub was grimy.

Terrible hotel

Check in was ok. Room was disgustingly old smells carpet was sticky n gross. Fly was flying around. Bed bugs bite me..call clerk for new room and was told no and i asked for a refund to check out she said no refund.. did not sleep was a nightmare NEVER AGAIN!!

Bad experience

We were on a road trip through Alaska and stopped at this hotel in Anchorage. You have to pay for parking in a parking lot that's not secure at all. Next door to this hotel is a covenant house as well. The morning we left, we came outside to the front of the hotel where there was supposed to be no parking and there's 7-8 vehicles jammed in there. THIS WAS A FIRE ZONE! It was clear the hotel only cared about getting some extra cash. Doors were supposed to be locked (key access only) from 9pm-6am. We left at 430am the one day and the doors were all unlocked. Our room never got cleaned. They came in, emptied the garbage and tossed fresh towels on the toilet. The only good thing about this hotel was the close walk to the dt area. Overall, pay the extra money to stay somewhere else because this place wasn't worth $20.00 a night

Close to the Museum

Pros: Within walking distance of most of downtown
Cons: Fix the pool
Great city, most of downtown is within walking distance. Try the Red Chair Restaurant on 4th Street! The weather was great: (T-shirt with a longsleeve shirt for layering). We saw a bear on the patio at the Native American Center. Saw the whales and tidal bore at Beluga Point. Took the tram up the mountain at the Aleyska Resort in Girdwood. Got some mushroom nectar at the craft show downtown (don't ask me HOW she made that!!) Need to come back and see the rest . . . Only draw back was the pool was out of commission - we did not have time to swim anyway!!

Low Quality

Pros: Convenient walk to downtown and restaurants
The room was not very clean, the air conditioner/heat was NOT connected to the thermostat and the desk clerk had to manually come to our room and turn something on under the vent cover (still didn't work properly), the pool was "broken", and breakfast was a joke.

Bad breakfast and nothing in menu

There was nothing in the menu in breakfast. Only muffins are there and oatmeal packets. No fruits or bread or yogurt. This was never mentioned what is included.

Stay away.

Absolutely the worst extended stay I have ever seen. The stench of the place is nauseating. Three hairs in room contacted front desk response is.....wait for it. We can't get them all. Floor is sticky even the carpet. Breakfast consists of coffee oatmeal packets and breakfast bars. Lol. What a horrible experience

So not recommend

Where do I start, four tries before we had air conditioning, found empty liquor bottles under the bed, boogars on the wall, dirty sheets, hairs in drawers. The guests were drunk and slamming doors, the pillows were horrible, the mattress horrible, hard like a brick, and the continental breakfast was sad. Overall it was a sad experience and one I would NOT recommend for anyone. If we didn't have to stay overnight we would have just left. While the staff were polite the hotel felt dirty, run down and sad. Pictures on internet are deceiving.
