Great! It was a pleasant stay. Don't order food from Sarpino's though! My food never showed and I couldn't speak to the manager.

Old, Dirty, $30 Valet

Old hotel, dirty room, bath tub clogged. I was just here for about 8 hours as I arrived at midnight and left early morning, and during my checkout I mentioned this to the lady at the reception but she didn't even say they would check it, or I'm sorry, or waive the $30 valet as a courtesy.

Southern Hospitality at its Finest

Every person that I encountered during my stay, who worked in this hotel said hello to me. I have never felt so welcomed! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay the best they can. My room was great- fresh and clean. I had nice views of the city and I was in walking distance of serveral restaurants and attractions, or I could use the free shuttle service. Large variety of options for breakfast. Great size shower/tub combo, but I felt that the toilet was really short.

The location is extremely convenient for my business purposes. Shuttle service provided to local areas & restaurants is convenient, but there did not seem to be any "quick meal" type restaurants within reasonable walking distance. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Room condition, comfort and cleanliness were very good.

Nice Hotel...not so good location

Pros: Great staff and nice enough rooms. For almost $200 per night paying $30 to park was disappointing! Cons:The hotel was right next door to where we wanted to shop, however I would not stay there again and would have rather travelled a few miles due to the fact that the parking lot was small, congested and un-organized. They gave us an option of paying the hotel $30 to park our car in the tacky Underground parking lot of they said we could park it ourselves and it would cost $12 to $15 dollars per day. We opted to park it ourselves and after being it the parking garage just overnight the cost came on the meter of $30 anyway. We also ordered from a restaurant that did Philly cheese stakes nearby, I would not recommend them, they were really slow, we did not get what we ordered the food was mediocre at best and we had to call from a different number because they would not take our calls.

Meh... it'll do

The area is bad. They're attempting to renovate, but a renovation like the one needed for this area is still a decade away. The bed was pretty horrible, just a cheap bed- hard and springy, the bed covers were literally a sheet and a comforter... nothing in the middle. The air vents were full of dust. Valet was slow Front desk wasn't too helpful. No one offered to assist with luggage Security staff was more interested in watching a comedian (who used the N-word a lot while I was waiting for the elevator) on his phone Friday night than he was on making sure the hotel was secure.

Disappointed

Though the staff were friendly and professional, the rooms, breakfast, and area were subpar. Wouldn't stay again.
