Great hotel close to I95!!

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Towels in the fitness center.
My family and I stayed here for just 1 night on our way back from vacation.... wow a great place to stay... clean hotel, friendly staff, and great free breakfast.. I would stay here again.

Horrific staff.

Pros: Bartender was pleasant. Room was OK except smelled of insect repellent.
Cons: Needs new management, horrible staff, lousy service. I could run this hotel a lot better. Hire me.
Location: Location was fine, things nearby.
As a travel agent, I will publicly write in many magazines about this horrific run property. I spoke to the desk clerk SEVERAL times and to date have not received a response from the manager, even though i was told I would get a response. I was at the desk 3 times, and was told the manager would call me while I was there. I am home now and NEVER received a response. The pool is a "dirty toilet", NO CHLORINE in the pool. The hot tub is not a hot tub, as I was corrected by the front desk, they said it is a "JETTED TUB", what BS. NO INTERNET for 2 days, I was not able to do some necessary work. I am planning on writting to Best Western Corporate offices and complain to them there. So easy to run a hotel, I guess the managers missed a few classes.

Hotel was within a 10 min drive to Inner Harbor

Pros: Their complimentary breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had.
Cons: Rooms could be updated. They should also have separate parking posted just for dinner and comedy shows so that paying guests can be closer to hotel.
Location: The hotel is within a 10-15 min drive to Ft McHenry and Inner Harbor but otherwise nothing else to do. Had no idea if there were restaurants closer.
We were very disappointed. It was within a 10 min drive to Inner Harbor but otherwise we had no idea what type of restaurants or entertainment were close by. The room had a slight cigarette odor to it when first entered and the hallway had a funky smell to it. The rooms were outdated and small. The complimentary shampoo and body lotions had been partially used. The night we stayed there, they had a comedy show playing in their dinner theater. When we came back from dinner, we couldn't find parking close to the hotel. We ended up parking down at the end of the lot where the show attendees should have parked. I feel they should set aside parking close to the hotel itself just for their staying guests. On our next trip to Inner Harbor, we will be staying at a different hotel.

Location was very convenient. Shuttle every hour to the downtown area was excellent

It was a good experience. We did find crackers on the rug at the edge of the bed when we checked in. Otherwise everything was fine.

Very old and outdated

I was shocked by the great reviews after arriving at this hotel. It was so old and outdated. The room was musty, carpet was disgusting in the entire building. Went to ice machine on my floor and it wasn't working so I went down one floor and the smell of smoke was unbearable. This hotel needs some serious upgrades. The free breakfast was ok. The staff was very pleasant and helpful - the only good part about this place.

I am a business traveler. I have stayed here many times for business. I always wondered why this hotels ratings were low and this visit I found out why. I will not be back nor will I recommend this hotel. Find another place
