Suitable hotel within walking distance

My family of four stayed one niight in a suite. Having the full kitchen was a plus. In my opinion, the room was way too small for the price. I was overcharged foe the room and the overly expensive valet service so be sure to check your bill before you leave. The hotel staff were nice but the bell hops need more courtesy training. The continental breakfast was the best part of the stay. The best I have ever experienced. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Residence Inn Inner Harbor Baltimore

Pros: Location
Cons: Food service, communication about construction schedule so customers can opt out of booking this hotel if they need quiet during the day.
Location: The location is great - highly walkable to the waterfront.
The room met our basic needs - one bedroom suite with a sofa bed. Unfortunately the sofa bed was disgustingly dirty once we pulled it out - so we ended up sharing the bed in the bedroom. I was not aware at the time of booking that the hotel was under construction and we would have constant hammering and construction noise in our room from 8:00am to 5:00pm. It made the room unusable during the day. I was made aware of the construction upon check-in, and the notice indicated they would work between the hours of 9am and 5pm. They clearly started early - every day. The free breakfast is exactly what one would expect from a free breakfast - bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit are your best options. The hot dish options were disappointing, at best. Within walking distance of waterfront - so, the location worked well for us but I would not book this hotel again.

Nice hotel, close to Inner Harbor

Nice lobby and lounge area, valet and front desk staff are very friendly. Nice room with dishwasher and dishes provided. Valet parking was a bit pricey

Nice hotel close to the construction!

Pros: Nice room
Cons: Noise level
A nice quiet Friday night followed by my 6 am wake up call from the construction going on. Maybe during the week would not have been bad but on a Saturday morning not what I was looking for. The noise level in the hotel was crazy. Outside was a construction site and inside something was going on perhaps the renovations crew got started early. Either way, this was not the way to start the weekend. Other than that the hotel was fine.

Close, easy walk to Inner Harbor attractions

Upon arrival, the staff was very helpful. The valet staff was great as well. The hotel is doing some remodeling and we were told right away that we may hear some loud noises and feel some vibrations but he would give us a room as far away ad he could get us. We did not hear or feel anything. Our only issue with the hotel was that our suite was nothing like the room pictures on the reservation. We were expecting more room, but the room still worked for our family.

Within walking distance to many attractions

Pros: Staff
Cons: There is a lot of construction, so it was a bit noisy.
Location: Close to good restaurants and the inner harbor
Friendly staff, nice breakfast, very convenient located for both business travelers and vacationers.

Do Not Valet Park & Get the Room in the Picture

Pros: That a kitchen was available and that it is only a block from the Harbor.
Cons: The valet service and the breakfast options.
Location: The location is great for those wanting to visit the Harbor. We are only about 22 mins away from our children's university so that is also great.
This is our second stay at this hotel and while it was ok, the first time was much better. Firstly, we did not get the room in the picture, our room was much smaller. I know this because we had the room in the picture during our previous stay. We also utilized the valet parking this time instead of the parking garage across the street. Well not only is it $35, they also utilize the parking garage across the street to park cars. They state that you can come and go and they will get your car in a timely manner, however, this is not the case. My family and I waiting for almost 45 minutes for our car. My husband had visited the desk earlier and came back to the room only to relay to us that someone was complaining about the wait time to get his car. We made sure to call with advance notice so that our car would be there, however, it was not - for 45 minutes. They also park the cars behind each other in front of the hotel, so if someone gets there car (or comes to check in) before you, you'll be waiting for them to pack or unpack, you may be waiting for a while to leave) We don't eat pork or beef and feel there should always be a chicken/turkey (bacon/sausage) option for breakfast. The Staff is wonderful and very helpful.

Nice, helpful and courteous staff. Nice large suite very affordable and able to walk to Inner Harbour and surrounding neighborhoods
