First trip to Birmingham. Loved it‼

We traveled to Birmingham for an athletic event and stayed at the Redmont for eight nights. The hotel is an older building recently updated. Highlights: Outstanding customer service, a restaurant that served very good food, parking across the street, and walking access to many historical sites. Lowlights: Small rooms with only one chair at a desk, and no place to hang towels in the bathroom. Housekeeping could use some training in bathroom cleaning and restocking items. I would come back, perhaps upgrading to a suite.

Decent

Hotel is beautiful. However, the pillows were small and not comfortable, as were the beds. The A/C despite setting being at 68*F did not cool the room, which was not big. The area was nice, however not many lower to medium price range places to eat. We stayed on a Sunday, and a few places were closed so unless we drove, our food options were extremely limited. We ate at the hotel and it was so so. Not a place I would enjoy staying at again.
