A beautiful old hotel. We had breakfast there and I thought it was overpriced. $25 for breakfast is too much for what was offered. The room was adequate and the ad said it was remodeled but that must have been a while ago. It was very convenient to the things we were going to so that was nice. I would stay there again because of the location.

If you want to be right in the middle of midtown/Times Square action, this hotel is a good choice. Right next to Times Square but without being directly in the chaos and crowds. Very nice staff, especially Meeti and Syeda (?) at the front desk who accommodated my room request. Bellman and porters are also very friendly. Elevators are incredibly fast and the lobby is nice enough. The rooms are dated and could really use an ugprade. Bed/Bedding was very comfortable though. Furniture is tired, worn, and has seen better days, but rooms on high floors have awesome views. Pretty good deal for the price overall. Would consider staying here again for midtown business.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel was great. The location was fantastic and I loved the style of it. We loved it so much we spent a few hours each days in our fluffy robes just watching TV.

This was the first trip of my fifteen year old son to the big apple. His choice for spring break. Had a blast would highly recommend this hotel and yeah this city. It's centrally located. Broadway plays five short blocks away, Time Square same, Rockefeller Plaza two blocks, Central Park seven blocks away, Grand Central station three blocks away. 99c Pizza and other great food everywhere! A great place to stay and use as a base to explore this incredible city. The hotel was clean and buzzed with the same energy one hopes to feel when in town. People say New Yorkers are a tough bunch, but all I saw in the staff was smiles and people willing to go the extra mile to help. The rooms were clean, quiet and the beds were very comfy. Make the rates a bit lower and I would go more often. It will however be our go to place for future trips.
