Pros: Location.
Location: Restaurants, shopping.
Close to Calgary Folk Festival site. Staff was excellent.

+1 night staff. Nothing else. Not booking again..

Had business in downtown - nearby hotels were booked and this was cheaper by about 20 bucks. Why not right? Bad decision, parking (when it was actually available) was 25/night when I was there, but nevertheless, no parking available. The lobby was very dimly limit, got to my floor and everything looked like it needed some type of additional lighting. Thought my room would be different but... room temp was not controllable, coffee machine for some reason had a fuse that only let you boil water after its cooled down. Room was to be honest pretty dark and old. Bed was fine. Bathroom was average, you could not get into the bath without closing the door due to spacing of bathroom. Night time, vending machine and ice are closed so you gotta go to 4th floor where inside the room is a leaky faucet and random noises behind a door - place felt like something out of SAW. Surprise as you try vending machine for water, it had a tap card system! So coins and card only, no bills. Tried the tap -third card later.. pressed on water, out of stock. You'd expect the room to have basic water amenities so guests arent hunting for it. Walked to front desk to buy water, overnight guy was nice, and got me a bottle. But during checkout when I brought up issue with water - I was told "why not drink the tap water". She added "at least he got you water, we won't charge it to your account." Really? She then said because I booked Expedia, nothing can be done. Did I mention the really horrible wifi?

Convenient location, good price

Pros: Breakfast in the hotel, pub in the hotel
Cons: Beds too soft, constant air circulation kept me from sleeping adequately, heating/cooling system seemed to take about 8-10 hours to respond.
The hotel was across the road from where I was in meetings all week so it was quite convenient. Price was the best in the area when and where I was looking.

Bed Bugs..Non maintained

Worst hotel experience ever by far. You will not able to sleep from pipes noises coming from walls, you will hear AC running water all night. Had to call front office more than 4 times during the night to find a solution but recommended to change the room at 3 am and we were leaving on a road trip at 6 am! The worst part was discovering the bites on our bodies after leaving the second day! it is infested with BED BUGS! As other mentioned, "FREE" wifi is not working, you can hear other rooms talks clearly from your room! and pricey parking service. I gave the feedback at checking out besides reporting all night incidents, asked for a manager but they said they can do nothing! Not worth any money especially if you will not be able to sleep which is the main purpose of paying for a hotel room!

Very inaccessible hotel. No handicapped anything

Bathroom doors too small. No concern given to disabled. No front entry....very inconvenient!!. Scrambled over barriers and bicycles.

We do have elevators from our parking garage, making it much more accessible. We also have a few rooms with larger bathrooms and one room fully accessible.
