Excellent service at the front desk!

Posted Feb 20, 2018
We had a date night planned for my husband and I. We ended up having to bring my 6 year old along because we lost our sitter for the night. The staff was very accommodating and upgraded our room to include a sofa bed and also gave us free passes for ice skating and a box of carmels. Very nice and friendly man working at the front desk. I wish I would have gotten his name! We will definitely be back. Great experience.

The only place to stay if you like art

Posted Feb 19, 2018
21c hotels offer a really unique experience for art lovers in small towns. This is my first time staying at one but I visited the one in Louisville and absolutely loved it! The rooms are great with High end amenities, you’re in the center of town and right next to the contemporary art museum. The restaurant is fantastic— you can’t go wrong with this place!

Please don’t come in

Posted Feb 17, 2018
We checked in with an awkward welcome. Wasn’t terrible but felt very forced. Once we made it to our room we were happy but not overly impresssed. The room was nice but small and somewhat dated. About an hour after checking in my wife and I were getting settled and there was a knock on the door. It took all of 15 seconds before I hear a beep and a person announcing “room service” was opening the door. I had to push the door shut and yell “please no” to get them to go away. I am still not exactly sure what service they were providing but they really wanted to come in. The hotel has a cool vibe and might be great in general but our stay has started a bit rocky.

Hello Kyle, I am very sorry that your stay started off that way; at no time should anything feel odd or awkward and I can assure you that we are investigating all aspects of the experience you describe. We can get better only when we have the opportunity to learn and I thank you for that opportunity. I hope we have a chance in the future to show you the kind of stay that is truly representative of our property and our brand.

Great location with a greatmuseum downstairs

Posted Feb 4, 2018
Pros: Location, friendly staff, museum, and room feel.
Cons: Valet parking is pricey, along with the mini bar as usual.
Location: Close to The Jack Casino, sports stadiums, and in the middle of the theater district.
The museum concept attracted me to this hotel along with the contemporary feel of the room. Great for art lovers and non art lovers alike as it puts a different spin on a regular ordinary hotel. Staff was extremely hospitable an nice. The free water was nice also.

Not Impressed

Posted Jan 14, 2018
Pros: location for Aronoff and restaurants, plus streetcar
Cons: Front desk check-in people looked like people off the street, t-shirts, sweaters, no identification; some type of uniform or standard tailored look
Location: good restaurants, close to skating at Fountain Square
Bathroom was the best part of the room; otherwise, room very small and minimalistic, only 1 extra blanket for 4 guests; requested 2 king beds for 4 guests, got queens

Thank you for your invaluable feedback. The most outstanding part of our uniform is our hospitality; after that, yes, you should recognize our teammates as professionals and we will address this with your comments in mind. We are sorry that we could not accommodate your room request; none of our rooms have double kings. If we ever have the pleasure of hosting you again, please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable.
