Not impressed

My family recently stayed at DoubleTree in Cleveland. My first negative impression came when I was told that to park in an attached garage there is an extra fee per day. I had read nothing about this before arriving. The hotel was ok. Rooms were small for 4 people. First morning we used the packets of coffee provided with a small coffee maker. The second morning no coffee packets were left. The hotel did not provide any coffee in the lobby like many hotels do. There were was not a hair dryer in the room. I just felt you got nothing extra for the higher price you paid for a quality hotel. We did get cookies which were delicious.

Very disappointed

I surprised my fiance with a little trip away for a night, and I was very disappointed. As soon as we walked into the room we found a half smoked cigar of some sort on the couch and tags from clothing on the floor as if the room wasn't clean. Later, we wanted to watch a movie.. there were no options to buy movies or even a guide button for the tv. Then, just wanting one day to sleep in, we were blinded by sunlight first thing in the morning because our curtains wouldn't shut. I paid too much to be this disappointed.

I only spent a few hours in the room and was unable to use all the facilities. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We had a great stay! It was just a weekend getaway and we will do it again for sure!! Everyone we encountered was very friendly!! One of the better places we've ever stayed!

Very nice stay! The workers were excellent, wanted to order pizza they said it’d be 45 minutes ordered from papa johns and we got it quicker

Microwave not in my room when I asked for one. Called desk they said they would be right up. 2 hours I waited and had to call 4 Times. Some lady ploops a microwave in my arms and leaves. It does not work. Called down again for another 1/2 hour wait.

Great welcoming staff with helpful information of the city. Extended checkout time for my convenience. Great transportation arrangements for tourists who are visiting Cleveland for the first time. Overall excellent customer services in all aspects of the hotel.

Excellent location. Great staff. Really good amenities and the free shuttle is great (shout out to Carl!). Easy walk to the Rock hall and First Energy.
