Convention Stay

Pros: Access to the Convention Center was easy
Cons: Room Service
Location: Right across from the Convention Center and within walking distance of many good places to eat.
Access to the sky bridge to the convention center is great if you are on the 2nd floor which I was. It was very quiet (unlike some other reviews or maybe I was just tired every night). In any case the cleanliness of the room and housekeeping was awesome. I particularly liked the Keurig machine which was kept stocked up. The rooms were big and allowed me to stretch out. The only downside was the breakfast room service. The order was completely wrong and due to my convention schedule I did not have time to call and get it redone. I don't mark the hotel down on this because the room service came from the restaurant on the ground floor (Max and Erma's). I will be returning for the same convention and be looking to stay at the Lofts again.

Conveniently located but not VIP

Hotel has a great location within easy walking distance to the convention center and Short North area. The hotel shares amenities and sometimes check in with the Crowne Plaza next door. Our room was clean and comfy if a little sparse. (We got room service, and it took them all day to clear the tray from the hall.). The building itself is charming, but the inside is not much better than a standard chain hotel in terms of style. I would not spend extra to stay here.

nice place I have stayed here twice and prefer the suites, I didn't care for the regular rooms.

Very nice looking hotel

The hotel was very nice and clean. Modern accomadations in a beautifully renovated area of downtown Columbus.

Close, but with drawbacks.

The hotel is quite close to the convention center and quite clean. However, the industrial design was was taken a bit too far and my room was extremely dark, even after turning on all the lights. The Wifi signal didn't reach the bed in my room reliably. The raised and exposed ceiling made it pretty easy to here the people tromping around upstairs. The beds were nice and the rooms was well maintained. For the price, I expected a bit more.

Great on the surface, disrupted sleep

The desk staff, room, and Location were great. But I was awoken at 2am by the rattling of dishes in the hallway. Hotel staff was talking back and forth on a radio and were completely unconsciencious about the fact that people were sleeping. It was startling, annoying, and kept me awake. Will not return to this hotel because if this disruption.
