Beautiful hotel

Was there at anime fest and chose your hotel it was very spacious and the restaurants was convenient to me and my son will be staying again

Great place to stay

I stay at this hotel every time I'm in Dallas. Great place, big, comfortable rooms, very good restaurant. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. Less than 30 minutes from DFW.

just a lovely stay, sorry it was only one night

Location: plaza food court behind the hotel is excellent, one mile from American Airlines arena, DART station [train] very handy, just outside the hotel
me and 3 friends were in town for a concert, we shared on room, plenty of space for all of our stuff!! roomy bathroom was a bonus, staff very helpful, highly recommend

It's a great downtown location & since we went to the theatre we were able to walk.

Attention to detail

Our overall stay was great.Check in was quick and we got a couple upgrades.However,once we got in the room there was dirt on the side of the tub and toilet paper on the bathroom floor which led me to believe the room had not been cleaned properly and made me wonder about the rest of the room.There was also quite a bit of dust in the room.The drinking glasses didn't match and were different sizes.For the price of the room and the reputation of Marriott, I felt wasn't getting what I should.I was a supervisor for housekeeping before and attention to detail is key in hotels like this.If these details were taken care of,I would stay there again.

Sister and I stayed on a Friday night after seeing Madame Butterfly at the Winspear (you can walk, it's that close). Everything was perfect: from the early check in and great service from the minute we walked in the door, to the great food and drinks at the bar and unbelievable prices for room service. Seriously the best room service food I've ever had. Very comfortable beds and clean, quiet room with a fabulous view. Definitely my new go-to when staying in Dallas!

Pros: Close to downtown, restaurants and venues.
Cons: Valet service.
Location: Restaurants, museums, and civic facilities.
Hotel is in a great location but with any large hotel, be prepared to pay for extras, i.e. valet, breakfast, etc. Valet takes a while to get your car, so call enough ahead to have it down there. We called 15 minutes ahead and still had to wait for 15 minutes on one outing. Also, we got our invoice for the room stay on our last day slid under our door around 6 or so and the person that put it underneath the door was singing so loud it woke my wife up, so maybe a little more consideration in that area. Otherwise a nice stay.
