Staff was amazing!

This was a great hotel! The staff was amazing! Every time we walked in the said hello. It was like we were friends. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice. Kinda small space but I would stay again!

Hotel feedback

Pros: literally 2 blocks from JFK memorial, hot breafast included in room rate (pretty decent, but limited), modern rooms, comfy beds, and a very friendly staff. Cons: Lobby smells like kitty litter, $25/day parking fee is excessive, barn-style sliding doors on room bathrooms save space but give everyone an awkward listening session when having to go #2, rooms that were not overly clean (ants visible in room & debris on floors that should have been swept/mopped), being woke up at 6:30 am by the construction workers renovating the aforementioned $25/day parking ramp connected to building, and maintenance walking into our room (twice) with my wife exposed while pumping for our 6 mo. old son. I addressed my room cleanliness issues with the manager (Demetrius?) and he was extremely professional and reimbursed part of our stay to make things right. We paid about 1/2 the price we would pay at the Omni just down the road, but in this case we felt we "got what we paid for" in regards to the cons mentioned above. Just a little disappointed, and will look elsewhere next year. Again, staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel close to convention center

I think that this hotel was very comfortable and exactly what we needed. I know people usually complain about space but I'm not looking for a suite. It was just what we needed and wanted. Very comfortable beds and awesome breakfast. Very polite and helpful staff as well! It was a great 4 days!

Nice Hotel located conveniently downtown.

Pros: Location, Breakfast, and trendy decor.
Cons: The hallways, do have a bit of an eerie and spooky feel to them, leaving you wondering. However, I didn't feel or experience anything weird.Toiletries
There are a couple of reasons why I am not giving this hotel 5 stars. 1. I had experience a bit of a fly issue, they were little fruit flies, but it was super annoying to come back to my hotel everyday and be greeted by flies all stay. 2. I wish there was a shuttle bus available to and from the airport(s).

Convenient to the convention center.

Convenient to the convention center. I drove around several times, looking for a place to park. Called and found out that there was only valet parking and that cost an additional $25 per day. I was not initially given that information. The hotel was clean with the exception of occasional ants in my room noted daily. The room was exceptionally small. The shower had to be turned on while you were standing inside, which meant that you would be showered with cold water first. Breakfast was great with the exception of the bananas being extremely green every day.The staff was excellent. The only reason that I would come back. They could not have been better.

Hotels Close to the Kay Bailey Convention Center

Page the desk clerk was very friendly and greed us with a smile everyday. The rooms are small, very nice for the price. I would recommend staff have more information regarding things to do in Dallas...places to eat, sites, etc.. The daily breakfast was great, however after breakfast the drink machine is turned off, which meant your unable to get water.......

Unsafe hotel in downtown Dallas

Pros: Zero
Cons: The hazardous entry from a car or taxi into the hotel. This means you had to get out of the vehicle on a 4 lane street.
Location: Zero, it was on a very lonely corner, and I would not have gotten out to walk to find a restaurant if I were starving.
There was no canopy to drive under. To unload I had to park on a 4 lane street with traffic. I had two children to get out of their car seats it was an extremely terrifying experience to get my children harnessed up to leave as well as me standing on a 4 lane street to get them out when I arrived. The hotel looked like a dump from the outside and was extremely disappointing in the rooms, and the dark, depressing, scary hallways. I thought the room was the size of a matchbox. I could not even get the loaded luggage trolley into the elevator or my room. I had to wait 45 minutes for the front desk woman to be able to print a receipt for my parking. Then when I got it, it was wrong. I asked for a receipt for the hotel bill and she said Expedia would email it to me. Well its two days later and I do not have my receipt from Expedia. Are you going to send it to me or was the incompetent desk clerk supposed to give it to me? I cannot get reimbursed from my school for my business trip without a receipt. I will never stop at a La Quinta. It was my first and last experience with them.

Its is ok, the location in downtown. But I prefer to say somewhere else next time. For this price you can get something better
