Close to downtown

Posted Feb 17, 2018
Great location. Strange arrangement of furnishings, several lights out in the room, and shower door misfit so that it leaked alot on the floor. Overall good experience. Suggest more attention to detail in the room.

One night visit but excellent

Posted Feb 14, 2018
Location: Near Larimar street and good shopping, dining.
Nice hotel across from the Four Seasons. Great location near Larimar street. Wonderful staff. Very helpful with picking me up from Hertz rental location and offering ride to Union Station. Updated rooms with great beds. Good bar downstairs. Overall a good place to stay in downtown. Would visit again.

Great hotel.

Posted Feb 11, 2018
Pros: Modern, a little quirky and clean. Everyone was very nice and very helpful.
Location: A couple of blocks from the 16th St Mall.
Great location. Close to everything. Parking lot just across the street and metered parking on the street with a two hour maximum. Hotel valet parking is steep at $45 per night. My room was large and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and the furniture and amenities were nice and seemed new.

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at Hotel Teatro - we love hearing that our staff was helpful + friendly! We do try and price out valet parking competitively, however being in the heart of downtown does cause parking to go a little higher than rates found outside of the city. We look forward to welcoming you back to Denver again soon! Best, Brittney Hemela Media and Marketing Manager

Great staff, comfortable bed, excellent location

Posted Feb 11, 2018
I've stayed here many times and have always found the staff to be eager to make things right. The rooms are small but comfortable, with a good bed and luxurious bathtub. The hotel is close to the Tattered Cover Bookstore and Larimer Square.

Indifferent and unhelpful staff. Valet parking fee rediculously high.

Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay at Hotel Teatro. We're disappointed to hear that our staff wasn't helpful during your stay - that's not the feedback we typically hear. We do try and keep our parking fees competitive within the area, as our $42 valet is less than many within a mile or so of downtown. Thank you again for your feedback. Thank you for choosing Hotel Teatro for your recent city staycation! We love having locals fall in love with our boutique property. We definitely value your feedback about the workout room and parking - unfortunately being in the heart of the city, parking is a downfall many hotels face with the limited space - we do try to price competitively. We hope you'll return for another getaway in the future! Best, Brittney Hemela Media and Marketing Manager

Beyond impressed ....

Posted Feb 5, 2018
Pros: Everything ...
Location: Great location within walking distance to the convention center.
I recently attended the Denver Outdoor Retailer show and thorougly enjoyed staying at the hotel. My corner room had great views of the city lights, streets and front range. Unfortunately I was fasting during my stay and was unable to sample what appeared to be diverse and interesting menu. I will return to enjoy cocktails in front of the fireplace. Great eclectic charm.

Room's reno isn't up to par with pics online.

Posted Feb 4, 2018
The bathroom has missing grout, cracked grout, the overhang of sink is filthy, trim on the corners of bathroom door has rust, there's darkness where the shower tile meets the ceiling, the bathroom vanity has bulging "wall paper" covering it, the windows are not new, this is not a 4 star hotel despite their 2.5 million dollar reno.

Hi Jennifer! I wanted to connect with our team before replying so I apologize for the delay in responding. We have extensive notes about your stay and we have taken the room you were previously in out of service for detailing following the renovation mentioned above. It does look like our Assistant Front Desk Manager Adam was able to get you moved into a different room and placed an amenity of wine in your room. Our notes show that you were satisfied with the solution offered so we are surprised to see this feedback online. We hope you recall your time at Hotel Teatro as positive and comfortable. TERRIBLE & Rude Staff

Posted Feb 2, 2018
Booked this hotel through Expedia and the note said pay at hotel. WRONG! they authorized my incidentals before I even arrived! The front desk girl asked me if I was upset over a $7 overcharg as if that little amount didn't warrant mentioning. When I spoke to the GM, he never addressed this rude behavior. This attitude rings true and through out allllllll of the hotel. The property is absolutely gorgeous, but with attitudes like staff have now be prepared to get treated very poorly.
