Nice hotel, walking distance to fields

Had a great stay, only thing we didn’t like was that we found a wet towel and bath mat in our shower, easy fix though, and that the water didn’t seem to get that hot for showers. Otherwise great time, will stay again!

Lined out the door to check in, then a line to use the elevator once we were checked in. Front desk staff were great though, so were the valet staff. Breakfast buffet was also a big line with no tables available. It was a weekend stay, not sure how weekdays are.

Close to venues.

Pros: The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Everyone was nice to interact with.
Cons: Clean or replace the carpeting.
Location: Downtown Detroit, the hotel is in walking distance to area venues, Little Caesars Arena, The Fox, The Filmore and many fabulous restaurants.
The hotel was easy to get to and staff were very prompt from check in to check out. Carpet in the elevators and on the two different floors we stayed on during our two separate visits where dirty and definitely stained. Leaving a feeling that the hotel itself was dirty. The room was comfortable and clean but again, wouldn't trust that the carpet was clean.

Nice hotel, close to downtown Detroit venues

Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Spruce up the rooms. Enlarge elevators.
Location: Within walking distance of sports and concert arenas, restaurants & bars in Detroit
The elevators and rooms are small, but the staff was very efficient at check-in. Valet parking was quick, and price included in the room charge. Continental breakfast was excellent.

Check your Credit Card When You Get Home

Pros: The Ice Machine was on my floor
Cons: 1. The hotel could have called me to ask if I was smoking in the room 2. The hotel could have returned my call immediately
Location: There were things to do near by, however getting past all those people they let hang in the lobby was a bit scary, people asking for money,crude names
The hotel (long after I got home) added $250 to my credit card (for smoking). The hotel people knew I had to bring medical equipment up to my room because I am ill. If I lit a match I would burn myself up (or a lighter). I can not smoke, I am very sick. What good is it bringing medical equipment all the way from VA, not being able to walk that much, oh what the hell go smoke in my room for $250. Are you kidding me? When I went downstairs there were a group of girls hanging outside my room, I don't know if they were maids or who they were I said I will be out in about 30 minutes. They said ok, it is cold outside. I thought they were maids. My credit card was used fraudulently, I gave them to 9:00 est to get back to me. Also it was kind of scary walking through the hotel lobby and hotel at night. They let a lot of people hang out there.

Great Location

Pros: Great location.
Cons: Needs some updating and maintenance. The faucet in the bathroom sink was very stiff and hard to turn on. The bath tub drain was slow..
Location: Love the location, close to all the sports arenas, great food and bars and Greek Town.
The location is perfect for exploring Detroit. The staff is friendly. We had a spacious suite with a full kitchen and pull out bed, which we weren’t expecting. Had I known we would have invited more guests and shared the cost! The views from our room were amazing!

Good location

Room was dirty- cheetos found under the deak upon check-in and 1 bed seemed like the aheets hadnt been changed. Great location and perfect for 1 night. I wouldn't stay here again.

Affordable accommodations in the heart of Detroit

Pros: Staff and location. The rooms are generously sized, clean, comfortable with great water pressure in the shower.
Cons: Just about everything in terms of the physical condition of the facility outside of the rooms..
Location: Great location right downtown and directly across the street from probably the most expensive hotel in Detroit - the historic Westin Book Cadillac.
The arrival is chaotic with a crowded and undersized lobby with columns placed awkwardly in the path of travel, lobby and corridors showing the effects of wear, the hotel room door won't close unless you lift it up as the top hinge screws are sheared off - but then this is all forgotten due to the warmth and good humor of all of the staff, from the parking valets, reception staff to housekeeping staff. They made our stay a pleasure, especially housekeeping and its manager who made sure that the iPad we left behind in our room on checkout was returned to us promptly.

Hotel Renovation needed

Cons: Hotel old need to be renovated bad😩
Location: Great area
The best part of this hotel is your breakfast hours. The plumbing is terrible on 12th floor & which make taking a shower unsafe
