The Ladies of the Evening were definitely outside working the streets and it was Noisy ALL NIGHT LONG. We finally bailed at 4:00 in the morning. And lost our money. They refused to refund us. Wosrt place ever!

Central and easy to reach
The check in was very pleasant. The rooms are a bit small and I am not sure what is better between a normal and a comfort room. Requesting a late check out was rather difficult but we at least go 30 min. more. More time would have been appreciated as did not feel well. The location or district is not ideal for families but it is very central and the place is good for a overnight business trip. Parking overnight on the street was possible and for day time there is a parking garage.

Good hotel.
Great location for everything- food, transportation, souvenirs, landmarks. Breakfast was good too to fuel your day. Would come back.

The building is quiet old and the housekeeping is quiet ordinary. They just try to maintain adequate stuff just to meet the 3 star rating. I would rate them probably 2.5 star only

This hotel is disgusting. It's located in the red light zone and there were nasty characters hanging around the outside. It's on a street which is like an alley and we even had a neighbor across the alley filming our room. The "ac" was NOT ac...it was an evaporative cooler which doesn't cool a room..it makes humid air more humid. We couldn't sleep because of this. The floor was filthy... when I walked into the shower, i had black puddles around my feet from the grime. This hotel shouldn't be on anybody's booking site and we'd love to be compensated for this disgusting room.

The hotel itself is a short walk from the main train station. The hotel is very small with individual rooms being very compact. The double bed was comfortable. The room was clean, but very small. We had an issue with the toilet that complicated the bathroom a bit but not severely. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the local area and had good recommendations for food and sightseeing.

Okay place to stay
Overall we were pleased. Cons : The room was with a heavy smoking smell. The location is next to the red light district, which you don’t see/notice if you always use the right side of the street when you face the hotel. Pros: convenient location between the lake and the train station. The room was spacious enough with a safe and tea/coffee machine. The bathroom was pretty okay.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the railway station which is just a few minutes walk. It was also one of the lowest priced in the area so expectations were not high. It was old but clean and the staff were very helpful. However, the lack of air-conditioning in the heatwave would make us not rebook in summer again.

Admiral Sylvan at the helm in Geneva
We had a warm & comfortable stay at the Admiral Hotel. Sylvan the Hotel Manager was very kind with his time & effort giving city directions & offering landmarks to visit. The all included breakfast was excellent & met our needs. The room (although a little small) was comfortable & clean. We found turning ‘left’ outside the Hotel entrance kept us away from the local ‘inadequacies’. The Admiral is very close to the main train/tram station & a short walk to the city’s riverboat crossing. Overall a great stay!

The hotel was clean and nice, with pleasant staff and excellent breakfast. A bit of trouble finding it using GPS, so if arriving by car check directions beforehand. At any rate, the location is very good, close to the lake and within walking distance from the old town (i am a walker).

Good location , not for families!
Very good breakfast.Location is in the centre, very close to the shops but also the downside is not so good for families I believe.Surroundings are also full of prostitutes and guys who wants to offers you something!
