Horrible experience I had

This is the worse hotel I been, the customer service was horrible, the rooms wasn't ready in to very late, dirty, smell bad the towels as old as the hotel the bed sheets very dirty and smell very bad , restrooms very very dirty I don't know if I will book with expedia again, car was reserved to pick up and when we get there the Alamo car didn't have a car I had to rent at diferent place so just very bad.

Not a place to book

We booked a room and as we got there the linen was dirty and had hairs in the pillows. The AC was broken we asked to be moved to a different room and reception refused to move us. The window shade was broken and kept falling. The pool was dirty and we couldn't use it either. We would not stay here again.

Didn't feel secured area

Outdated, pictures didn't match with the hotel, carpets old and dirty. Shower and towels old. I didn't feel comfortable showering in it .. A/c didn't work. Desk personnel relocate us to another room with working A/c and tyle floor but shower still old bedding smells like haven't being washed. Only reason I stayed, because I arrived @4am with my 3 kids they let us stay till 3pm to rest.

ONLY 50% OF ROOMS HAVE AIR CONDITIONING

Pros: nice Lobby, nice pool, nice outdoor sitting area
Cons: already mentioned
Location: it's in the old downtown area, new WAL-MART across the street
my first room had no A/C but an adequate FAN was provided....the carpet need to be cleaned

Please stay away from this hotel

This hotel should not carry the Carlton name. Mattress was terrible and smelled of some really bad perfume. the towels and bedding were dirty,The carpet is worn and stained.we moved to 2 different room within the first 10 min unsuccessfully. We were desparate to get out of this place,so we try to get help from orbitz and the hotel wouldn't give us a refund. We did lose or money for 2 nights. DO NOT STAY HERE !

We requested to have bathroom light fixed three times to no avail. Had to take showers in the dark.
