Horrible stay... got charged 2x for a room and we didn't even get the room we booked. Still haven't gotten our refund either. Staff was rude about it and then tried to charge us for a roll away bed. Will not be returning or recommending hotel to others.

This property needs updating badly. The room was spacious but just did not feel clean. There are 3 elevators for this property and only 1 is working. The sink in the bathroom took a long time to drain and the bathroom had a sewer-type smell. The free cookies that were offered had walnuts (not everybody likes this) and were as hard as a rock. Parking was a pain, ask the public parking garage meter did not supply us with a ticket and we had to call into the service just to get out. This property was extremely overpriced for the value.

Rooms werent ready for check in, had a digital key and still had to wait in line for over an hour and a half to check in at the front desk. We missed our dinner reservation because we couldnt get in our rooms to get ready. I had called ahead and asked for a rollaway bed, spoke to the hotel directly to confirm its availability, they assured me it would be , it was not, and was not an option. Our room had 1 set of towels in the bathroom (king suite) and what appeared to be fecal matter residue swiped around the base of the toilet . The parking garage did not give.out tickets and i was charged $25 for a *lost* ticket upon departure. The cheer comp teams took up ALL the space and noone enforced the rules about no loud music, yelling,stunting etc...the location had been booked for a year for this comp and they only had 2 people working the front desk and apparently not enough housekeeping to have rooms ready in time. It was after 6 before we were able to check in and haul the 11 flights of stairs to our room...and then our physical keys didnt work. When i asked.for a new one the next morning, she just asked for my room number, SHE said my name to confirm and handed me a key without asking for ID . Wasnt who checked us in, so i could have said any room.

Well its wasnt all bad really only thing had to co.plain about was for the money it could have alittle bit more clean and better beds and the elevator issues was terrible we was on the 12th floor some times we waited 15 mins for elevator and when we finally got on it.....it would stop at almost every floor when nobody was there

Rooms don’t have refrigerator and elevators slow!
I stayed for the ICCA championships so it packed. It was loud on my floor all night long due to numerous teenagers from other squads staying up late. Main complaint was the elevators. Only two were in working order and they were extremely slow. Also I was shocked to find the room didn’t include a refrigerator.

No Drinking Water in the room.
The room temperature was cold. There was not a single bottle of water in the room, 4 star hotel. When I checked in, the receptionist asked me if I want a cookie? For a 4 star hotel they did not perform well. I have stayed in better hotels with less amenities. The receptionist response when I checked out, about the water, was that you need to be a member of the rewards program.

There must be better options in Springfield.
The hotel itself is very conveniently located in Springfield. We were able to walk wherever we wanted - museums, restaurants, etc. That said, the hotel was dated. The room was small with very basic amenities. The restaurant was extremely expensive. For two people for a very sub-par, average hotel breakfast buffet, it cost $40! The hotel was extremely busy and only one of the three elevators were working for the entire weekend, which was extremely frustrating since we were staying on the 8th floor. Overall, it was fine-- but I would never stay here again for the price and would not recommend it to anyone else.
