Convenient hotel and reasonable price

Posted Dec 13, 2017
Pros: Location and price
Location: Convenient close to downtown
Stayed here on business during convention. Hotel is located close to downtown and Convention Center. Area seems to be safe. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Nothing to complain about.

Don't stay here

Posted Dec 9, 2017
We arrived around midnight. Parking was confusing. you had to valet for $30 or find parking somewhere downtown on your own. Then walk over there were homeless people sleeping all around the outside of the buildings close to the hotel. The staff were not helpful. We are pretty much on our own. The staff did not bring our bags upstairs they gave us a cart that look like something UPS would use it was a dolly. Then we could not pick her out how to use the elevator they did not explain it to us you had to use your card we finally found a security guard that helped us. They said it was for safety of guest. We laughed when we got out of the elevator because there were stairs that anyone can walk up. We walked down to check them out. So much for safety. We call down to see if they had ice they told us we had to go downstairs and I own to get it that there were buckets we could use. Once we found the ice machine there were no buckets there was a roll of trashbags that we had to use for our ice. The staff just giggled when we showed them how we were having to carry the ice. When we got a coke from the vending machine which had a 10 cent convince fee, it dropped the coke straight down. It even dented the can. It was nice and shook up ready to spew everywhere. That's been our experience since we got here about an hour ago.

Pros: The remodel, and the convenience to House of Blues
Cons: Difficult to find parking via GPS... maybe try to update that somehow??
Location: House of Blues
Had stayed here before several years ago - not impressed! However, since then, they have updated and remodeled - very nice! All staff were very helpful and the rooms are very modern and comfy. Highly recommend.
