Location is nice to downtown. Room lacked air conditioning and any control of it. Shared bathroom very small. Lack of enthusiasm by greeters slowed vacation excitement. Breakfast options limited but tasted ok.DVD collection 10 years and older. Would only stay again because of its proximity to downtown (14 blocks).

The place itself was nice, but the room was incredibly small and not at all as depicted on hotels.com There were lights in the ceiling that were unable to be turned off at night, which made sleeping very difficult. The walls were very thin and we could hear the people in the room next door watching TV while we were trying to sleep. Breakfast was very nice and the staff was very kind and helpful.

We have a wide array of room choices from the budget friendly-but smaller rooms to our suites with whirlpool tubs. There are clear photos of every room on our website. We are disappointed that you didn't enjoy your room. All rooms lights can be completely turned off at the switch. There are on/off switches in each room with a dimmer slide knob on each switch. Please let us know your desires directly in the future and we will gladly match you with the best fit for your overnight needs.

Cozy, but not worth the money paid!

Cozy and unique, but not worth the money paid ( $220 for a suite in February). Felt ripped off. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows worn out and old, with no support. Bedding was not as advertised at all! Towels were very thin and old, as well. Sofa in the living room was very old, smelly, stained, and sticky, and no support. Had to put something on it to sit, as it was gross. Fireplace is for decorative purposes only. Windows were broken and would not close all the,way, so it was cold despite them raising the temperature when asked. Breakfast was nothing special...a low-end tiny buffet, except that someone shows up after you have been sitting for a while and asks you whether you want pancakes,and brings you 2, and asks you whether she should bring you some syrup No other choices. Except a boiled egg...no protein..just carbs. We travel a lot, and this was the poorest breakfast of all...and people come to B&Bs to experience that special breakfast as well. We love old houses and hotels, but this place needs some work, as there is a huge difference between antique/ old and broken/worn out, especially for the money paid. We liked the feel of the room...cozy and romantic...it was just hard,to enjoy as we were hoping to due to the issues mentioned. We were so much looking forward to our stay.

Nice experience

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Towels
Location: Easy access to neighborhood restaurants and downtown Indy
Perfect for my purposes - I didn't plan to stay in the room much due to workshop activities. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good parking.

It was ok. If you are a couple looking for an intimate and private place to stay, without all the extras, this might be a good choice for you.
