Location was great that's it

Pros: Location
Cons: toilet paper
Location: all of the convenience of down town Indianapolis and the many restaurants, bars, shopping and Lucas Oil Stadium.
Most horrible toilet paper in my 40 year history of staying in hotels, motel 6 has better toilet paper... I make this point because it is the little things that count. I just can't believe that an upscale hotel like this one thinks so little of this important part of someone leaving their homes to travel and wants the comforts of their own bedrooms and bathrooms! The construction at the hotel cause disruption of the traffic flow. On Friday night the guitar player was amped up so loud against the large space he was playing in, I could not have possibly stayed in the bar area because of the way too loud music. And I not a crabby lady when it comes to music volume, it was NOT proper amplification for the space. We had to shout at each other to be hear standing across from each other...I won't stay here again,

Although under construction, our experience was excellent. Very convenient location where we walked everywhere we needed to go. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room newly updated and beds were very comfortable. Looking forward for a return trip sometime.

College football game

Location: It was very close to Lucas Oil Stadium so walking to restaurants and the stadium was great.
It's under renovations and they weren't prepared for such a large group of visitors coming for a college football game. The restrooms were blocked off on the first floor so you had to go to the 2nd floor but the stairs were closed and the elevator line was 40 deep. We tried to eat after the game in the café and it took 15 minutes to get seated and then another 20 minutes to get waited on, The food was good and hot but it took forever. The staff seems totally overwhelmed with the amount of people. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable.

Nice Hotel close to Lucas Oil stadium

Very nice rooms but NO Refrigerator or Mini Fridge in the rooms.

Hotel Under Construction

Pros: The room was modern and clean. The back wall had a mural of Indianapolis, there was a good view and the bathroom was updated, nice and clean.
Cons: Customer service, customer service and customer service.
Location: Lucas Oil stadium, circle center mall, restaurants
We arrived at the hotel at 2:00pm (2 hours before check in) to see if we could check in early. When we got to the desk we asked what the possibility was of checking in early. The staff was not very friendly and simply said "I DONT know". They did not make an effort to be friendly, look into it, or ever guess. When we went to pay for incidentals, our card was given. They again said they had no ideas on check in time and to come back at 4:00pm. When we got to the lobby, we got a banking alert that hundreds of dollars had been withdrawn from our account instead of the incidental fee. We went back to the front desk immediately to investigate the issue. We were first told a non-sincere sorry and that we had been "charged the wrong rate"??? The room was pre-paid, so there should not be a rate at all... After wasting a few minutes we were simply told a mistake was made and were issued a non-sincere apology. After raising frustration and concern over this, we received a call that our room was ready while we were at the desk still (odd) and after prodding received a free parking pass. We were also told that since it was a debit card that was used that it will take 1-5 days to get the hundreds of dollars back. The staff also forgot to give us our breakfast vouchers, causing another hassle the next morning. The hotel is under construction so navigating the hotel is difficult and annoying currently. It was disheartening that hospitality is not the #1 concern for a hospitality company.

Be nice if there was a Mini Fridge and Micro wave

Pros: View we had from our room
Cons: Parking was terrible
Location: Great if you want to walk a few blocks
With no Fridge and Microwave we wasted a lot of food. Bad for environment.

We stayed for 2 nights. My favorite bar was closed for renovations but other than that the hotel was great.

For the convenience

The front of the hotel is under construction and it is on a one way street. So we had to circle around to find the entrance to the garage/ hotel. However, the room is newly renovated so we enjoyed the stay for the night. It's next to the convention center and in the middle of downtown. It's convenient for us to our business meeting nearby, avoiding the traffic on highways.
