The hotel was very nice, very clean and very friendly, accommodating staff. Our only issue was, we were on the 5th floor but could hear the music from the ballroom parties on the 2nd floor like they were next to us. They were supposed to end at midnight but went until almost 1am and we had to be up at 6am. I had to call down several times after midnight to inquire. They were very nice and apologetic about the issue but it was very frustrating.

Beautiful room and staff, hotel under construction

Pros: easy walk to downtown events, quiet, room was gorgeous
Cons: I'm sure it'll be nice when the lobby is done
Stayed here as a place to sleep after an event downtown. Convenient, safe walk for three ladies. Room and staff were A+, the lobby is under heavy construction so first impressions were lacking for the price. Not really the hotel's issue, I understand making improvements is how they maintain the upscale.

Over prices hotel

I won't be using a third party to book anymore, I wanted to queen beds got a king bed and they said it was because I booked thru Expedia. I paid over 300 for one night and didn't get what I reserved, such crap, it shouldn't matter how it's booked or they should give some money back if that happens! This is actually the second time this has happened and both times it was a Marriott

Construction Under Way!

Pros: Room was recently remodeled
Cons: More advance notice regarding the construction. Minor point but the front desk clerk failed to ask how I handled my parking, so I had to go back again
Location: Close to convention center, restaurant row, and other downtown Indy attractions
I do recall receiving a message about the construction taking place but another reminder 24 - 48 hours would have been nice.

horrible experiance

our first night there was stains on the comforters and pillows. breakfast buffet was very limited and was bland. had to repeatedly ask to get my shower stuff and the coffie that was provided with the room. some of the staff was exelant but some gave dirty looks and was rude. my experience was terrible.

Not at all worth the price

Pros: Every one of the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and they even sent some extras up to our room.
Cons: The room was small. The beds were hard. We could here people coming and going. Every time a neighbor flushed the toilet it sounded like a jet plane.
First the good things. Every one of the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and they even sent some free extras up to our room. Also the room was clean. Now the bad parts. We had a room with two queen beds. The room was small. The beds were very hard. I've had nicer rooms at Holiday Inn. We were on the 8th floor, but the noise of a wedding reception on the second floor was annoyingly loud until it ended around midnight. We could here people coming and going in the hallway all night. Every time a neighbor flushed the toilet it sounded like a jet plane. Neither one of us slept well. We had paid the extra twenty dollars each for breakfast, and were incredibly disappointed by it. It was basically what you would get at another hotel's free breakfast. We would have been way more comfortable at a bed and breakfast, for half the price.

With the cost of the room, i would think the breakfast would be free, or a little less expensive. Buffet was $20 per person and not enough variety for the cost.

Beautiful place and very convenient. Can walk to convention center and JW Marriat with out going out in the elements of the brutal cold weather.
