Close to where we needed to be.

Not what I would have expected for the price. And the room service food was horrible! This entire complex needs a major renovation. It shows its age.

Location: Good location
Nothing really stood out good or bad. O.k. hotel but a bit pricey for what you get plus expensive to park.. not exactly a bargain. Room was pretty spacious, comfortable and clean. Very hot when we arrived but it did cool down nicely once we turned up the AC. Right next to the ice machine which was not exactly ideal but not a lot of disruption from it. Valet and doorman were very friendly, desk clerk o.k. When we returned to the hotel for a nightcap we encountered a very rude bartender. Didn`t get her name. She was blonde and looked like the only female bartender. When we sat down at the bar to get a drink she seemed to treat us like riff raff for some reason. My wife and I are both professionals and we certainly were well dressed and certainly friendly. I have no idea why the attitude. She was very short with us, did not remotely crack a smile and was just plain rude. Her attitude definitely affected my overall opinion of our stay. We will probably check out another nearby hotel the next time we visit KC.

Out dated facility. Rooms had very old furniture

Pros: Location
Cons: Valet parking wait time, rooms need updated badly.
Location: downtown KC area.
Had to pay for valet parking on top of the very expensive room charge. Internet was not free unless you signed up for their rewards program. No breakfast, one bottle of water complimentary in the room. The rest, you had to pay for. The room was very outdated. The furniture looked like from the 70's. The fridge was horrible. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Cannot believe we paid this price for the room. Have stayed in rooms that were much nicer for half the cost.

The staff were lovely at check-in. The venue was conveniently located and connected via "the Link" (skyway) to the Sheraton which hosted the meeting I attended. Unfortunately the room was really humid and smelled like mildew. There was no way to open a windows or get fresh air, and the thermostat only allowed for controlling the temperature, not the humidity. I would have asked to change but was in a hurry when I checked in and generally spent very little time in my room, so it was tolerable.

Pros: Staff was kind and responsive.
Cons: Musty/smoke smell in room
Location: Ideally located to historic train station and museums. Enclosed walkway to access the Sheraton for conferences.
Overall, a comfortable, clean hotel. The room did smell a bit musty and there is some stale cigarette smoke smell in the halls and room, but I am very sensitive to that, so others might not even have noticed. Otherwise, it was a very nice place.

Love the scenery

The view from our room was amazing. Seeing the lights of downtown Kanas City was amazing. Union Station in waking distance and didn't even have to step outside to get there. Also plenty of restaurants to choose from all in one location. Very nice place.

Rooms were nice but that's it

Rooms were clean and nice but the employees had no idea what they were doing. Took me an hour to check in and they still over charged. Tried charging me 3 times for parking one vehicle. Than we asked them to fix it and took us another hour to check out. Will probably never stay again.
