Great Location, Amenities and Room. Bad Experience

Pros: Location
Cons: Housekeeping needs to be trained to be more discreet and non-obtrusive.
Location: Walking distance to anything downtown and a lot of good restaurants.
We originally booked 2 rooms then added a 3rd at the last minute which resulted in some confusion, but the staff handled it well. I liked the location to downtown. Close enough to walk, but far out enough to not have a lot of noise. The one bad item was that housekeeping was banging on my door at 8:30 in the morning. We were scheduled to check out that morning, but check out is 11:00 and we had enjoyed Beale street the night before. I was not happy about the wake up banging on the door.

STAFF FROM HELL

Pros: THE LOCATION
Cons: THEY NEED SOME CLASSES ON CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Location: IT WAS CLOSE TO THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND TONS OF RESTURAUNTS.
FROM TIME OF CHECK IN UNTIL MY CHECK OUT THE STAFF WAS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL I HAVE NEVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE. MY SISTERS AND I LIKE TO TRAVEL FOR EACH OTHERS BIRTHDAY AND WE HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR OVER A DECADE AND WE HAVE BEEN IN SOME NOT SO NICE HOTELS BUT THE STAFF WAS NICE. THE VALLET PARKERS WERE EALLY NICE THAT HELPED.

Overall visited was good I would stay here again . With that said I had 1 issue 1 of the phones in the room did work then 1 didn't , I called housekeeping for extra towel I got them 45mins later only after walking down to the front desk and asking again .

Very clean. hotel staff nice. parking $22 horrible

When greeted the parking staff was short and abrupt.... spoke as if we were a nuisance. Once we made it in the front desk clerk was exceptional! The hotel was great... when checking for bed bugs, l did notice the mattress was ripped. We had a very pleasant stay.

Great choice

I stayed here on a business trip with some vacation tacked on. The hotel was perfect for both. The location was great, the room was very clean and comfortable, and all the hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Fit the Bill

Friendly staff, clean room, nice gym. Cafe wasn't great--service was really slow for simple items like oatmeal, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Internet was insanely slow, which was the only real bummer. Other than that, a great deal for the money--would stay here again.

NBA playoffs

Check in was exactly at 3pm. I callled ahead to see if our room was ready at 130pm and it wasn't so we enjoyed our brunch time Saturday. The room was comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the balcony to our room. TV kept on having reception issues. Valet was used and during checkout it was recommended to call 15 min in advance but we still had to wait an additional 20 minutes since communication was not relayed to valet to pick up car.
