Pros: Close proximity to all attractions
Cons: Noise level
Close to all attractions....a little noisy being on the main street and with the ball park directly across the street. Front desk staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The valet service could have been a bit more organized and swift with service.

I would not recommend this hotel!

Posted Aug 22, 2017
Pros: The only good thing that I could say about this hotel is that the person who checked us in was friendly, but other than that, this hotel was not good.
Cons: There would be a long list of improvements here: the pool, parking, the restaurant, the plumbing, the air quality in the rooms.
Location: The Peabody Hotel is across the street and so is Autozone Park. Beale Street is a 3-4 block walk.
One of the reasons that we chose this hotel was because it had a pool. What was pictured online could not have been the same hotel. The pool here was green and it looked like a swamp. It was unusable. This hotel is old and run down, and not very clean. The plumbing is old and toilets didn't flush well and were stained. There are no fans in the bathroom so the humidity in the room after a taking shower was stifling. There is no self-parking, so every time that we wanted to go somewhere, it was a 20 minute wait for our car, and there was a traffic jam in the front constantly because there is only a small half-circle drive in the front. There is also construction and crumbling buildings around the hotel, not a pleasant site; and the Autozone ballpark is across the street so it is really congested when there is a ball game. There is not enough seating in the hotel restaurant, and it was cramped and not very clean. All in all, not a good experience. I would not recommend this hotel.

Southern Hospitality at it's best

Posted Aug 22, 2017
I've stayed at this wonderful hotel three times in the past and overall have been satisfied. This time was no difference, but noticing the age of the hotel and it needs updating. Plumbing was slow(toilet and sink) and carpet instead of hardwood in rooms 😔. I will recommend hotel to friends and family, but I will stay at a newer more modern hotel next time we visit.

Great hotel close to Beale St

Posted Jul 20, 2017
Business style hotel but with the personal touch that is really handy for Beale St and downtown Memphis. Only provides valet parking but plenty of cheaper self parking sites close by. Next door to the Peabody so you can enjoy that hotels facilities without paying that hotels prices.

"A Created Mood"

Posted Jul 3, 2017
Pros: Jazz entertainment
Cons: Fix the blinds
Location: Located near Beale Street;semi-pro baseball ball park across the street; and near plenty of restaurants.
Most of the fives given were because of the mood created by the entertainment. The jazz piano player was great! Plans were made before I arrived to attend an event. I would have gladly cancelled the event to just hear the jazz piano player. The proximity of Friday's Restaurant provided a safe environment for us to eat. The employees were cordial and pleasant. The only negative was the blinds, in the window, got stuck above which allowed the sunlight to peek into the bedroom early in the morning. Even then, I gave room comfort a "4."
