We had to wait over 3 hours for our room. A couple came after us and they got their room before us because they complained more. They tried to give us a room with 2 double beds which was cheaper but I said no. I wanted what we paid for.

Close to forum but not very Westin like

Pros: Close to Beale street and activities Bleu staff extremely polite and efficient
Cons: Keys, front desk staff availability, room cleanliness,
Location: great location - close to bars, restaurants, museums, sports
Front desk staff not accessible by phone after three calls from room on one night Keys for elevator and room did not work most of the time and had to be replaced three times Room cleanliness not up to par - bag of trash left in room sitting right in front of trash can Wake up call button on phone did not work - had to call to front desk-oops nobody answering

Nice hotel downtown Memphis

Had a great time in Memphis. We did a lot in the Beale Street area, and the Westin was right in the middle of it, so we were able to walk to our destinations within a few minutes. When we needed our car, the Valet service at the Westin was super quick. Rooms were great, hotel clean and modern.

Waited 4 hours for our room in the lobby. Was tired and ready to lay down.

Our new go to choice when we visit.

Our son attends college in Memphis, requiring us to visit several times a year. After s few duds, we found our favorite place to stay. Because of the close proximity to Beale, the good condition of the facilities and the efficient and friendly staff, we finally found a keeper.

Right around the corner from Beale Street

Pros: Easy access to everything in Memphis downtown. Great staff!
Cons: The first room we were booked in - far west room was next to the service elevator. We changed rooms with no problem - of course we checked-in at 2:00
Location: Beale Street, Rendezvous for Ribs, Blue Plate café and the best chicken in the world "Gus's Fried Chicken". We walked everywhere downtown.
Great place to stay. Walk out the front of the hotel, turn left and you're on Beale Street. Easy walking to the Gibson guitar store and factory - across the street. Really easy walking to everything downtown.
