Nice facilities. Front desk staff was helpful, but demeanor was not at a 4-star hotel level. Valet staff was excellent. The room was nice, and clean, but the bed was creaky on one side. I was not expecting that at this price range. My wife and I were overall satisfied with the stay and would recommend this hotel to those looking for a quality hotel in Memphis.

The Peabody is all about elegance and great customer service. One thing to watch for at the Peabody is bathroom size. Being an historic building, there is only so much they could do to retrofit modern facilities. The room we were first given had one of the smallest bathrooms we had ever seen. We asked if we could move to a room with a larger bathroom and were promptly upgraded at no extra expense. We had a fabulous meal at their restaurant, Chez Phillippe. It was fun watching the iconic Peabody ducks in the lobby fountain, and seeing them march on the red carpet to and from the elevator each day. we were an easy walk to Beale Sreet and to the Natiinal Civil Rights Museum (which is a must see) and an easy drive to Graceland. When back in Memphis, we would definitely stay at the Peabody again!

We checked in at 12:30 in the morning but the staff was ready and very courteous. The manager in charge even saw a mistake made in our reservation and fixed it. We were hungry so they told us were the only restaurants that were open that late were. When we returned at 2:30 am the valet was still available to park our car. We went to our room and found it clean and the beds very comfortable. Not all Courtyard hotels are as enjoyable as this one so we were very happy with our experience.

The hotel was in a good location, we were able to walk to Beale St. There is a nice park across the street with benches and a beautiful fountain. The room was clean though the mattress was rather uncomfortable and the pillows were smaller than standard size and very soft. This hotel serves breakfast each morning with scrambled eggs sausage or bacon, make your own waffles plus various juices and breads for toasting. The food was pretty standard but being complimentary it was worth it. There are a few homeless people around but they didn't seem to be bothersome. If you are looking for a standard room just to have someplace to crash at night this hotel fits that bill.

We stayed for a couple of days at the start of our US roadtrip. We had a nice view of the river and the room was comfortable. The staff were good and the location was good. The breakfast was average but I found that in most US hotels. We enjoyed Memphis. You need about 4 days and be mindful of the days some of the key attractions are closed.
