Everything was great except the check in. Check in is at 4pm and they didn't have a room ready until 6pm.

Definitely a 5 stars hotel

We are glad we chose this hotel for our honeymoon. All the restaurants and bars have delicious food and drinks. Our room was perfect and the view was beautiful. We visited three different beaches because of the convenient location of the hotel. All three offered a different experience. Our favorite was the Bill Baggs Cape Fl State Park beaches on Key Biscayne, and then South Beach. We loved our visit so much that we are thinking of moving to Miami in the future.

It is centrally located which is a plus

Cons: The bed in Room 2415 needs to be changed. There is a sinkhole in the bed.
Location: The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to all eateries and the arena that we needed to get to for our convention.
The hotel staff were extremely courteous, helpful and accommodating. The initial representative was very knowledgeable about the area which was helpful.

Nice hotel walkable to Brickell

Pros: Room, Food, Room service
Cons: Better views
Location: Lots of great restaurants and shopping
Pros: Great hotel with nice rooms! Rooms and bathroom are spacious and clean. Bed is super comfortable. Room service was fast and delicious. Cons: View was terrible (my room looked into an office building) and I called to request a bandaid after hurting my toe - but it never came. Overall I would stay again.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

I wish i could give them 10 Stars, Everyone was helpful. Stanley at the front dest helped us with everything. Our rooms were clean, our view was amazing. Only thing i wasnt happy about was that the Basketball court is not included in the $15+ daily resort fee. Besides that everything was great.

Nice hotel overall

I stayed here for my birthday vacation and it was amazing I felt like I was on another planet. The staff were wonderful they helped me and my sister with our bags and opened the doors for us to get in our lyft. Great Experience. The pictures do not give this hotel ENOUGH credit! It looks even better in person. I will be returning!

Luxury hotel in the heart of Miami

We had a great experience during our stay. The hotel was clean with great amenities. the staff were courteous and made our experience even that more special. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxury feel without breaking the bank. The only issue is the parking. They charge you $45 a night for parking.

fine staycation at JW Marriott Marquis Miami

Cons: Only three of four elevators were working during my one-week stay. This resulted in long waits in elevator lobbies as well heavy passenger loads.
Location: I was on a staycation, and didn't venture far except to the grocery store and pharmacy nearby.
Though I live in DC, I decided to go to Miami for a staycation -- meaning complete vegging out, getting away from my usual routine, and spending a week in and around the hotel. When I arrived at the Marquis, I was greeted by a friendly man who told me that I would be staying not in the Marriott proper, but in a suite in the separate Hotel Beaux Arts, which is on the top three floors of the building. I had my own check-in with the concierge and went to my sprawling suite that had dark hardwood floors, a huge bedroom and bath with Jacuzzi, a guest bathroom, an office nook, a wet bar, and a lounge with a leather sectional sofa and two tables. For the price I paid, this was a bargain. Vegging as I was, I spent most of my time by the outdoor pool on the 19th floor. Being summer, there weren't too many quests, and I found the pool area to be fairly quiet during my week-long stay. I love to sit at a pool, but am sensitive to sunlight, so I was happy to find that the peak tanning hours were the only time that there was a lot of direct sunlight. As the pool is on the 19th floor, there was almost always a constant, cooling breeze that made it seem I was up north again. I don't like humidity, so it was a pleasure to lounge around in a cool atmosphere that one might not expect in Miami.

when i checked in it started off bad. they were rude because they were a little busy and told me that i would just have to wait until they get around to me, well trust and believe after that, i found somewhere else to stay,
