Nice hotel, needs new beds, staff is excellent!

We enjoyed our stay here for 2 days. The staff was TOP NOTCH. Room service was great and prompt. Bathroom was nice and updated. View of the water was nice with a patio set to enjoy the view. Bed was obviously old, and a hotel on this caliber could have invested in new ones. Sheets were clean but I did see a few hairs which freaked me out, but I'm a total germaphobe, lol. Would stay here again just for the staff (and if they upgrade the beds).

Great Hotel in beautiful Brickell area. Jw is a nice hotel. The business lounge is very small and needs a little improvement. The room wasn't clean and we had them clean it again.

Hotel location was perfect for me. Close enough to walk to my family place if needed. Each and every staff member made me feel at home. Welcoming, helpful and always with a smile. The hotel fitness center was well equipped. The bar and the staff,awesome. I will make the hotel my home for all my trips to Miami when visiting family.

Cons: Staff needs to be more courteous and respectful
My friends and i hated the stay at the Marriott. The stay was very unpleasant and we were treated very rudely and outright disrespectful. We booked a double bed room, upon arrival we were told there were no more double beds available so we have to get a queen bed, we requested an extra bed which was denied instantly. To our surprise 10 minutes later my friends check in and they get a double bed room. This was unexpected so i went to inquire and was told there were no rooms when I walked in but one was cleaned and was given to the next available person. I questioned why this was not made clear, i was told nothing is guaranteed when booking through expedia, always book through Marriott and nothing can be done about it, we got extra bed now for an extra charge per day, not pleasant. we wanted an extra blanket, they had no extra blankets, surprising that there were no extra blankets. Would never stay there again.
