Nice hotel close to the American Airlines Arena

Pros: The room was a very good size and extremely comfortable
Cons: The corridors are like a maze, with nothing on the walls
Location: This hotel is close to the American Airlines Arena, allowing for a short walk if planning to see a concert
Friendly staff. Topped off with a perfect welcome drink of Moet :). The room was very modern and comfortable

Excellent location! The hotel is modern and the staff were very friendly ! The check in and out was very easy and fast !

Excellent

This was by far one of the best experiences regarding my hotel stay. The guy down stairs (1st floor), Christian is amazing. He helped us with our luggage and basically handled any other concerns (needed a fridge) that we had. This hotel is certainly one I'll come back to. Cons: 15% daily fee on top of what you've already paid. $35/ day parking- however, it's valet and it was definitely worth it.

Awful!

Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Learn from a real 5 star hotel such as JW Marriott or the Ritz. Retrain all the hotel staff.
If you want a 5 star hotel service, don't bother with this one! The hotel staff and condition of the hotel are not 5 star hotel quality. All and All, go with JW Marriott or Hilton, you will get true 5 star quality and service.

Pleasantly surprised

Pros: Modern, staff
Cons: Can't think of anything
The staff were all very friendly and professional. The breakfast was a little spendy, but that's just Miami I guess. We especially liked talking to our waiter who was interesting and fun. The hotel is close to the water and there are lots of things going on all within walking distance or a short Uber/Lyft ride. The room was clean and modern. The view from the 8th floor was impressive. Yeah there was noise from the traffic, but your in a big city so deal. We did the hop on hop off bus which was cool. We also did the boat tour, also cool. We love visiting Miami and I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel

I don't splurge to stay in nicer hotels very often, but I am so glad I did this weekend! Complimentary champagne upon arrival. The room was beautiful and clean. A million pillows. Balcony overlooking bay with cruise ships/downtown/American Airlines arena. Pool area was excellent. Best hotel gym I've ever been in. 5 stars All the way around.

Great hotel and staff

Pros: Bed was quite comfortable, everything worked perfectly. Staff was extremely friendly. Greeted with a Mimosa.
Cons: The high-tech light switches took a little practice and would not dim the light bulbs so that you could have a night light in the bathroom.
Location: Walking distance to nightclubs and restaurants. Nice bars and restaurants in the hotel.
Hotel is only a year old and shows it - clean rooms with high-quality fixtures and furnishings.

Concert convenience

Pros: New. Upscale, great location and excellent staff and ambiance.
Cons: Bed was HORRIBLE!!! Too soft, said it was a king, but I really think it was a queen. Rooms (especially side on Biscayne) need sound proofing.
Location: AA arena, Frost and Perez museums, Bayside.
American Airlines Arena concert same night of arrival. Champagne upon check in, room upgrade, wonderful view of Port of Miami. Had to wait quite a while for drink on 14th floor, as the bar up there was NOT open, so drinks came from 1st or 3rd floor bar. Pool was beautiful, poolside assistant very charming, and there was a great breeze. However, surcharge on top of drinks price was really high!!! Restaurant was great, however it didn't open for full service til 6 so we opted for snack at happy hour, where we found out our $15 poolside drink was $8.00 in the lounge without the high fee. The property is exquisite, infinity pool, health club, exquisite lounge and restaurant. Convenient valet parking.
