Visit to the city for a concert

Posted Aug 17, 2017
We stayed here to go to a concert. The location is why we picked the hotel but it was wonderful. Glad we did. Rooms felt deluxe and skywalk was a great experience. Great location and would stay again if visiting the city.

Walk to the Ballpark

Posted Aug 11, 2017
We wanted to walk to the ballpark and this hotel was perfect! Upon check in we were given a map and told about places to stop for meals.

Booked based on pictures

Posted Aug 1, 2017
Booked this hotel because it was downtown and the pictures looked amazing. The hotel was beautiful but when we pulled up to check in it turned into to a cluster. People who didn't look like they were there to check in were honking at the cars lined up to check in. Guy at front desk gave us an upgrade because our room was not ready, it was not an upgrade, it was the same room but with no view. We were hoping for a view of downtown but instead got a view of absolutely nothing, just wasted space. The room was nice but for $300 a night it could have been bettter.

Dear Ashley, Thank you for your honest feedback. I sincerely apologize for the concerns you shared about your room and check-in experience. Half of our rooms have a city view, while the other half have an internal atrium view, and each guest will have their preferences. During your next check-in, please let our front desk team know that you would prefer a city-facing room and we will do our best to accommodate your request. I hope we will have the opportunity to serve you again the next time you are staying in Minneapolis.

Beautiful hotel in a construction zone

Posted Jul 27, 2017
Pros: See above.
Cons: See above.
Location: See above.
While the Radisson Blu is clearly a beautiful hotel, it is currently on the edge of one of Minneapolis' largest construction zones -- the wholesale redevelopment of the Nicollet Mall. If I focus on the Radisson itself, I would say that I would be happy to return to that hotel in the future (after the construction mess is done). However, there were a few minor irritations that bothered me: 1) The front desk staff did not correctly activate the elevator/room pass cards at check-in, so they didn't work and I had to return to the front desk to have them do it again. 2) They have Direct TV service which meant for me losing the television signal and/or sound on 3 of the 4 days I was there -- not a ringing endorsement for Direct TV. 3) The shower's water pressure was a little low when showering in the morning (when everyone else is showering). However, on the one day I showered at the end of the day, the pressure was great. It may also be connected to being on the 16th floor. All in all, these are very minor issues and I appreciated the overall design and quality of my room. If my travels bring me back to Minneapolis, I would stay there again in the future.

Dear Brad, Thank you for taking the time to provide a thorough review. I am delighted to know that you enjoyed your stay and plan to return! As someone who drives through this area every day, I understand how frustrating the construction can be and apologize for the inconvenience. The Nicollet Mall renovation will be substantially completed in November. I apologize for the concerns you shared about your experience and we are working diligently to correct these issues before your next stay. We look forward to serving you again the next time your travels bring you to Minneapolis!

Great Hotel ...Close to Target Center

Posted Jul 27, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: drop the price for self parking .(It's currently 23.00 per day)...only negative was the construction downtown although not the hotels fault.
Location: Target Center- Excellent breakfast restaurant nearby (Hen House)
Excellent location to all of downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

Dear Greg, Thank you very much for your thoughtful feedback. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time in the hotel and Minneapolis! I am sorry that you found the price of parking to be high. Unfortunately, the parking garage is public and not owned or operated by the hotel. The Nicollet Mall area of downtown is undergoing a major renovation that will be substantially completed in November. I know how frustrating the construction can be, and I apologize for the inconvenience. We thank you for your business and look forward to serving you again the next time you are in the area!

Close to Target field

Posted Jul 9, 2017
Very nice hotel. Modern and clean. Only two negatives were the sirens from outside could be heard all night and they didn't validate parking in their ramp. Cost $22 to park overnight!

Dear Jacob, Thank you very much for your feedback. I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay! I apologize for the noise concerns you shared. Half of our rooms face an interior atrium and are preferred by some guests because less outside noise reaches them. If you would prefer an interior room, please let our front desk team know during your next check-in and we will do our best to accommodate your request. I am sorry that you found the price of parking to be high. Unfortunately, the parking ramp is public and not owned or operated by the hotel. We look forward to serving you again the next time you are visiting Minneapolis!

Nice stay

Posted Jul 8, 2017
Pros: either newly renovated or new. proximity to Target field
Cons: The city could take care of the homeless and pan handling a little better. On the hotel side - everything was great.
Location: There wasn't much other than the Twins baseball games that we did. Took the metro train to the Mall of America.
Came for a couple Twins games, location convenient, only a few blocks to walk to stadium. The hotel itself was wonderful, security to get to rooms was great. And after walking to the stadium and seeing the condition of the locals in the area I was glad for the security to get up to the rooms....lots of homeless, stoners, and pan handling, which we were surprised by. Downtown is currently doing a lot of road construction and many of the stores and restaurants were closed over the holiday, but we had a very nice stay.
