Central location

Checking was a nightmare. There was a big event in town and the hotel must've been sold out so the line for checking took over 30 minutes. We were given a room without a view so I had to stand in line again to request a room on a higher floor which became quite a fiasco for them and they gave me a hard time. When I did get a better room it was quite nice. The room was comfortable. We did hear some street noise at night and the beds were a little soft. Overall, this is a nice hotel in a very central location and close to the light rail.

Birthday trip

My friend and I went for my 21st birthday weekend. The location was great, we were able to easily walk to the Twins game, restaurants and bars. The hotel is nice and the room was great. Our only complaint is that the Hotel TV channel misleads readers to believe check out is 4am-4pm, which is true- after a $50 late check out payment (which is NOT noted on the same screen). I should have called, but since my friend and I both read it, I believed I had all the information. We would have gladly paid the $50 but feel a little cheated. Other than that, great weekend!

I'll preface this review by stating there was a big concert in town. However there was a continuous long line for check in that took almost 1 hour. Once checked in, the room was clean and nice. After the concert, the hotel did not have any food options after 11:30 pm, except a couple of pizza places they suggested that had a 1.5 hour wait. The hotel only offered vending on a basement level that had one pop machine and one vending machine for snacks. Hotel also ran out of change for larger bills for vending machines. I suggest they work on their check in process and food options during large events, even on Sunday nights. This applies to the whole city of Minneapolis. Remember you're hosting the super bowl in 2018.

Indeed there were three concerts in town back to back, however, our process should have accounted for this. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the poor first impression; you should not have had to experience this hassle upon check-in and I can guarantee you that this is not typical of our hotel. I appreciate you making me aware of the dining option as our restaurants are by standard meant to be open through midnight daily or until the last guest leaves if after Midnight. I have worked with our team and we have put a process in place to prevent this from re-occurring. Dissapointed

Tv didnt work had no reception. Only 1 channel. Not happy with $17 to park when i paid over $200 for the room for one night. I feel that if you rent a room that parking should be free.

We do over guests a 20% discount on the published garage rates which the hotel subsidizes. Our rates are thus on the low end of the Minneapolis downtown hotels. Great downtown Minneapolis location

Pros: Location. Comfort. Room was very attractive and beautiful remodel.
Cons: guest computers were not working in the business center. And elevators seemed to take a super long time. But, I'm just being picky now.
Location: Nice downtown location. Great dining and shopping in the area - no need to walk far. Much more convenient than I expected.
Good location. Comfy bed. Great view. Nice HUGE room. Quiet. (13th floor). Elevators took a while though, and the guest computer area was not functioning. But, we had a great stay.

The hotel staff were outstanding. The hotel bar was a great meeting spot and the bar staff was outstanding. Also, the sandwiches were excellent.

Beautiful Hotel in the Heart of Minneapolis

Our stay here was great. The room decor is calming and beautiful. The view is breathtaking. Fabulous restaurants in and near the hotel. Skywalk to anywhere we needed to go when it was raining. Would definitely stay here again.
