Great downtown Minneapolis location

Pros: Location. Comfort. Room was very attractive and beautiful remodel.
Cons: guest computers were not working in the business center. And elevators seemed to take a super long time. But, I'm just being picky now.
Location: Nice downtown location. Great dining and shopping in the area - no need to walk far. Much more convenient than I expected.
Good location. Comfy bed. Great view. Nice HUGE room. Quiet. (13th floor). Elevators took a while though, and the guest computer area was not functioning. But, we had a great stay.

The hotel staff were outstanding. The hotel bar was a great meeting spot and the bar staff was outstanding. Also, the sandwiches were excellent.

Beautiful Hotel in the Heart of Minneapolis

Our stay here was great. The room decor is calming and beautiful. The view is breathtaking. Fabulous restaurants in and near the hotel. Skywalk to anywhere we needed to go when it was raining. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome corner view!

Large room, comfy bed, great corner windows. Bottle of red wine sent up for our anniversary was a great touch. Close to great restaurants and shopping.

Great location, easy walk to metro, target field, theatre area and lots of restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lobby renos almost done but renos not an issue. Would stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE DURING CONSTRUCTION!!

We stayed for three nights this past Memorial Day weekend. The location was awesome because it is right downtown and the view from our room was gorgeous. But our first day there our toilet started leaking and so we were dealing with maintenance in our room from the very start. They took care of that right away. We kept feeling super hot in our room even though it said the air was on and so we had to ask them to come fix the air in our room. Add that to our shower that started leaking, too. And you can see that it a lot of time spent with customer service and maintenance in your room. If that wasn't bad enough, the front desk did not answer the phone. EVER. So every time that we had an issue, we had to go downstairs to tell them. But our keys didn't work in the elevator (and you can't get to your floor without your key) even after they "fixed" it for us. At one point we were stuck on the 12th floor and just had to wait until someone rose the elevator up to us to get back down. Our hands were full or bags from the store, so it was frustrating. We experienced the front desk being completely overwhelmed and bombarded with complaints. The cleaning staff even said that we couldn't have fresh wash cloths because they were "out for the day". I think this hotel could be awesome if they got themselves together. They are clearly way in over there heads either construction and complaints and WILDY understaffed.

Current construction mars otherwise great hotel

The temporary entrance is hard to find from street level. Only 2 of 4 elevators functioning, creating long waits. Room was very nice, comfortable, and clean. Add on fees are crazy: $4 bottles of water, $17 per day for internet.

mixed feeling

Pros: Excellent downtown location. Within walking distance to many places via Skyway without having to go outside. Very spacious room with an excellent view
Cons: The heating system in the hotel emits a fairly loud buzzing noise whenever it's on. The TV functions (Guide, Info, etc.) are "unavailable".
On one of the seven nights that I stayed, I discovered my room door was left partially opened when I got back in the afternoon, presumably by housekeeping. Luckily nothing was missing.

The hotel is amazing, good location, very clean, modern rooms. I would stay there again but the construction made things complicated for us to find lobby when for some reason the elevators did not work when we were going to checkout. We had to take the stairs, 16th floor, our bags, 2 kids -including my toddler- we couldn't find the exit towards the lobby. We understand this is not their fault but hopefully next time we go back the elevators will work! Otherwise excellent, 5 stars.
