Keep in mind it is shared bathroom. When I arrived the WiFi and room lock weren't working but the hosts were quick to fix this. The breakfast made in the morning by the owners was really nice! Overall a pretty good deal for what the stay cost.

Thank you for your comments. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Just a note, there are some rooms with shared and some with private. We endeavour to keep all immaculately clean, though

Great all round experience!

We arrived late and received a warm welcome from the hosts before being shown to our room, which they had kindly upgraded for us. The place is as charming as the hosts and is in a fantastic location for getting quickly into downtown as well as to the more interesting quarters near the city's center. Breakfast was delicious and all prepared individually by the host, who loves a good chat and was happy to give us all the info on the city, as well as some pretty great dad-jokes. Highly recommended!

The neighborhood is incredible. I used to stay at Lindsey's B&B for Women, and have been struggling to find someplace cute in the same area since Lindsey closed her B&B a few years back. This place is basically the owners' house, plus some extra rooms they rent. There were no communal spaces to hang out in, which may be different in the warmer months as I think they have a little yard. The room was clean enough. The kitchen that the owner prepared food in (for the guests) was not clean, and the owner ate his meals while preparing food for others (this was a turn off, prompting me to not want to eat any of the food he prepared). Owner Ephraim was extremely intrusive with his conversations and jokes (sometimes inappropriate jokes). I was talking with another guess one morning and he continually interrupted us, inserting unsolicited commentary. He made several off-handed comments about the United States. On my last morning (as I was walking out of the place), he asked me if there was anything he could have done better, joking that he was told to talk less by previous patrons. I felt kind of put on the spot.

We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay. Of course this is the owner's home, that is a requirement for a legal B&B in Quebec. That means that we live hear, eat here, talk with our guests and are here to help. We are sorry that this isn't what you were looking for and hope your future hotel stays are more to your liking.

A wonderful ,comfortable place to stay!

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: Delicious breakfast with daily changed menu, comfortable bedding are the most favorable parts.
Cons: We are ok with shared bathroom . We will be more than happy if can have a private one.
Location: This place is so conveniently located ,near to many points of interest: walking distances to old town of Montreal , Rue St. Denis.

Beautiful neighborhood near Saint Louis park, plenty of good restaurants, bars, and bakeries within walking distance. Our hosts were lovely people, Ephraim and Yves provided a wonderful breakfast and made us feel welcomed.
