Great location. Comfy beds.

Great location. Comfortable beds. Rooms are a nice size. I would have rated five stars across but this hotel charges for everything. Even bottled water. No breakfast included either.

Pros: Location
Cons: Customer service at check in Don't have smoking areas by main doors
Location: Lots to see in downtown Montreal.
Close to Notre Dame and China Town. Metro across the street. Tim Hortons across the street. Check in - not impressive at all Pool - basic Hot tub - awkward "ladder" to access tub Reception on second floor

Noisy because of the present construction on Main Street. For some reason they have the fan on all the time at my floor

Cons: Water quality of the swimming pool can be improved.
Pleasant. We liked the pond with goldfish. Breakfast was nice but a bit too expensive.

The hotel is nice and it is located right downtown in walking distance of many restaurants and the Old Port Montreal. The children liked swimming in the pool and I liked the hot tub. The Wi-Fi coverage was terrible.

Need better trained staff

Posted Aug 31, 2017
It is a small hotel with a small swimming pool and fitness room, which is important to my 11 and 15 year old boys. Style is a bit old but things are of good quality - I had the most comfy bed among all the hotels I stayed. It is within walking distance to Old Port where you can take a cruise and Old Montreal where food is reasonably priced and lots to see. Also very close to Biosphere and the amusement park. Location wise is very convenient. However, I wish the staff there can be more flexible. We parked underground and it happened to us that the ticket didn't work couple of times when we need to go out of the garage. One evening we were in a rush to take our son to the Children's Hospital and the we couldn't get out. we called the intercom to ask the staff to open the gate and indicated that we had an emergency situation, but the person insisted we came upstairs to verify our ticket.

Pros: Staff was pleasant and agreeable.
Cons: Place needs a renovation.
Location: Location was OK.
The place is old and run down. The overpriced breakfast buffet was terrible.
