Le Cantlie Suites hotel/MontrealPosted Sep 24, 2017
Pros: Just mentioned it above
Cons: It could use a little bit of a renovation. But nothing major.
Location: Mentioned above.
Hotel is located right in the middle of an area of many great restaurants, stores, The Museum of Fine Arts. The hotel has a pool on the 28th floor roof with a great view of Montreal! The staff is very friendly and eager to please and the rates are very reasonable too. I highly recommend the hotel for the location alone, to say nothing of the friendly staff. The room was very large with a fridge, stove, and sofa and separate sitting area.

Pros: location, the bed and shower head...staff too
Cons: doors to rooms are heavy and old and make tons of noise when trying to close them softly...we heard the baby next door screaming thru the walls .
Location: good eateries, lots to walk around and see esp down the street either way..close to everything..metro close by
hotel staff is amazing, bed is the best. super small bathroom...hate the sink..old tub, old kitchen, not alot to watch on t.v. in down time..excellent location...we walked everywhere and i mean everywhere from there...to old montreal, mount royal which is beautiful....great food choices around there,...great outdoor places to eat..

Central base to explore MontrealPosted Sep 21, 2017
Lovely hotel. Didn't realise it had a roof top pool when we booked so that was a surprise. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent water pressure in the bathrooms for baths and showers, but new tile grouting around bath will soon be needed. Didn't eat at the hotel, but the bar area over looks the street so you can enjoy the hustle and bustle over a cold drink, although a little pricey!

Nice Hotel, good locationPosted Sep 20, 2017
We had a junior suite which was spacious clean and comfortable. Loved the large windows and views of Mount Royal. Also enjoyed the rooftop pool on an unseasonably warm fall afternoon. Location was great, walking distance to most attractions and very close to the metro for longer journeys. Had a great stay would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily visit again.

Needs to install new carpets. Old dull brown urgely carpets makes the rooms look old, not neat & dirty too.

Very central - not mega expensivePosted Sep 18, 2017
Location: Very close to central Montreal near many art galleries etc and all the main shops. Not too far away from Old Montreal so great sight seeing location.
Really enjoyed my week at this hotel as it was self catering if needed but there was also a bar and restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff.
