Right out over the water

Posted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: The view and the cleanliness
Cons: There were a couple of suites that did not have a balcony and we ended up in one without the balcony. That part could use improvement
Location: Not much - Status night club.
This hotel was very clean, friendly staff and had a great view of the water.

Pros: I liked the balcony and the view of the Fraser river. Lots of flowers around hotel and boardwalk.
Cons: Could use a washroom in the lobby.
Location: Hotel was right on the Fraser river. Variety of restaurants and a market near by. Columbia street across the railroad tracks had a variety of shops.
room was nice, had a balcony with a view of the river. lots of restaurants and shops close by food truck fest on Columbia street during our stay.

Stayed 3 nights with my daughter for a short holiday.Lovely location on board walk, away from hustle of downtown Van couver.View from the Balcony over the river was a delight.Boat house next door restaurant excellent.Pub on the other side a bit [happy!] noisy but quiet by 1100pm.Beds very comfortable. Direct easy access via sky train to downtown tourist attractions and Stanley park..Hop on Hop off Bus a great experience with no expensive parking,[every 15 mins] .We loved our stay.

Hidden Gem Near Vancouver

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly, especially Rick at the front desk who helped us at check out and the dark haired girl who helped us check in and wit
Cons: nothing.
Location: Walk on the boardwalk, watch the circus crew practice, many place to eat
We've never visited New Westminster before even though we've been to Vancouver and outlying areas many, many times for weekend hockey road trips with two boys on two different teams. I played there in the 70's and 80's doing the same thing. We walked away breathless on our experience in New West and Inn at the Quay. Our room was over the water and we had an incredible view east down the river and the boardwalk. In the morning the wife and I would sit on the triangular deck, sip our coffee and just enjoy the magnificent view unfold before us. Trams would go over sky bridges, tug boats would haul huge containers of logs, people below would be jogging, walking, biking to our amusement. First night, we walked over the bridge, caught the skytrain and we're in downtown Vancouver in like 15 minutes. The next day we caught the tram to a bus to the PNE Play Land. Very memorable trip.

good views and comfortable rooms

Posted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: The views and the room
Cons: The aircon unit was rather old and a bit noisy
Location: Good water views
With views across an active waterway, this is a very pleasant location and we were very happy with the quality of the room albeit the aircon unit was rather old and a bit noisy. we went for a pre dinner drink in the busy and lively pub next door (it was a very nice warm evening) and then had dinner in the restaurant downstairs which was perfectly good if not particularly special. The next morning we went to the nearby cafe for breakfast (rather than the hotel restaurant. This was a good decision as we had a hearty and good value meal before heading out on the road. It is airy that rhis hotel is some 30 minutes for the Sirport so rather too far for an overnight base Fter a longhaul flight.

Good hotel.

Posted Aug 19, 2015
The hotel was nice. The room was a good size, the bed (a queen) was smaller than a normal queen but was comfortable. Our room faced the market next door which had a pub with a live band that we could here till midnight. I would stay again but I would ask for a room facing away from the pub.

Nous avons beaucoup appréciés notre séjour au Inn at the Quay.

Vancouver visit

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Quiet
Cons: More eating places
Nice waterfront setting, we spent 2 nights here before leaving on a cruise. It is located quite a way from the Airport and the Canada Place cruise ship terminal! It was a $50 cab ride each way from Airport and to the cruise ship terminal. it is located right across the street from the Skytrain terminal, Just know you better pack light and be ready to climb a lot of stairs if you plan to take baggage onto the skytrain. Overall the eateries on the adjoining Boardwalk are OK but if you don't like Asian food your choices are limited! The breakfast place right across the plaza is very good, reasonable, and affordable and good food! Angelina's I think is the name. Overalla very quaint nice and QUIET rooms. We liked it and would return!
