Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff!

Pros: The staff, the view, the location.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: We went to eat at the City Works in Market Square, and to a little restaurant called Cherries for breakfast.
We stayed at the Fairmont so we could attend a Penguin’s game. The view of the city was wonderful, and whenever we had any questions, the staff could not have been more helpful. We had a great experience, and we would stay there again!

Wonderful stay! We were there for a family trip to see the Penguins. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Short walk to Market Square.

Fantastic

The Fairmont was an absolutely great place to stay. Every employee that we encountered was friendly and really made you feel welcomed. The room was clean, luxurious and had great city views. It is right along Market Square in the perfect location for walking and was especially close to the PPG Christmas tree and holiday market. We ordered room service twice and the food was delicious and staff very prompt and courteous. We were very impressed with everything about the Fairmont and the experience we had. We will absolutely being staying there again in the future.

Love coming here...the rooms are so clean and comfy and the staff is lovely! The amibiance makes you feel like you’re a VIP!

Nicest hotel

Nicest hotel I've ever been too and hands down the best hotel in Pittsburgh! From the valet, to the front desk personal, to the rooms, room service, secure elevators and stunning views, not to mention the gorgeous interior of hotel and rooms. Experience was perfect!

Disappointing Stay

We arrived with high expectations for this hotel, however after nice curbside valet service, a welcoming front desk staff, and beautiful lobby, our stay was not at all impressive. We were advised upon check-in that the hotel restaurant was closed for renovations, and that our only option for morning hotel dining would be room service. Pros and Cons of our stay: PROS: floor to ceiling windows with a great view of PNC Park, comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower, good location within walking distance to restaurants and bars. CONS: dirty grout on the bathroom floors, dirty and stained carpeting, extremely poor in room lighting, loud live music playing in the lobby in the evening (leaving nowhere to sit and relax and talk), poor room service breakfast (soggy eggs, dry cold toast, no waffles or pancakes on menu for our son). Overall our stay felt like a three star hotel. Very disappointing.

Great location with beautiful views of downtown and the rivers. Great hotel staff. Room was very nice, but A/C didn't cool very well. Bed was not as comfy as you would expect from such a nice hotel. We realized this too late. If we were staying more than one night, we would have asked for a different room.
