Do not stay here!

Posted Dec 13, 2017
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: Clean!!!! Fix the AC and CLEAN!!!!
Location: Stay down the street at the Hilton!
Old, smelly, hot, dirty!!!! The room smelled when we opened the door and was hot, so we put on the ac well it didn't work. They we went to the elevator and saw a pile of trash that was on the trashcan left there over night and was still there in the morning. The items on the night stand hadn't been dusted in months. NASTY I will never stay there ever again. And don't even get me started on all the homeless hanging around the hotel!!!! Don't believe me? See the pictures. Oh and my favorite was when they did finally empty the trash, they didn't even clean the trash can lid!!! NASTY!!! Don't walk but RUNNNNN!!!! They should have paid me to stay there! Then they charge $30+ for parking and you have to walk across the street and pray you don't get attacked by the homeless people!

Great location, comfy beds and friendly employees!

Posted Dec 11, 2017
Pros: We got in earlier than expected and the employees did what they could to get us an early check-in. It was so convenient.
Location: Great location right by the convention center and downtown.
We had a great stay at the Sheraton! The room was very clean and the view was great.

Don't stay here! Go Next Door - Wish I Had!

Posted Nov 27, 2017
Pros: pretty decorations for Christmas
Cons: Need to improve transparency of what is truly being charged at the hotel. The reality of what they represent and what is true is quite different!
Location: not much here - lots of homeless people to see. There is a "Mermaid Bar" down the way....
HORRIBLE It's all about the "Upsell/Upcharge" here! Was not allowed to park in front of the hotel (to unload and check in) upon arrival, unless of course, I paid an "Upcharge" for Valet parking. Had to park 2 blocks away (by the way, I'm disabled). Took 1/2 hour to check in - the waitress from the restaurant went on the hunt for the missing in action desk clerk. Reserved almost a month in advance, a 2-bed room. Got a single bed room. BUT for an "Upcharge" (Almost DOUBLE the rate) we could be upgraded to a room with two beds! we made do with the single, the cushion in the window isn't too bad to sleep on.... The complimentary Internet was not complimentary, but for an "Upcharge" we could have internet access. Had to remind the desk clerk the breakfast was complimentary with the room. She argued, until I pointed it out to her. Then, she only wanted to give us breakfast for one person only. Had to argue more with her. Finally she "Allowed" us to have a voucher for two people. Bathroom was dirty. Asked for but never did receive any help with luggage. So we ended up dragging luggage from the parking garage to the room. Took 3 trips. Hard to handle a lot when you are disabled. This I felt, was uncalled for and felt harrassed in retaliation for not buying into all the "Upsell/Upcharge" stuff earlier....

Great stay for the Kings game, bad check in

Posted Nov 26, 2017
The hotel clerk at the front desk, Jessica, gave me a room with one bed when I asked for two (I booked a room for 3 people). I called guest services to get a room change, which they easily accommodated over the phone, but I had to go to the front desk again to get new keys. Jessica said that she had asked me if I wanted a king, but that wasn’t true. She didn’t ask me. And she gave me a hard time about it. The hotel kept saying that I had reserved 1 king bed, but my reservation clearly states a traditional room with 2 beds for 3 people. [insert eye roll emoji here] The room is nice and has a great view, but my experience was easily soiled by Jessica’s bad attitude.

Nice hotel, but not quiet

Posted Nov 13, 2017
Was placed in a room next to the ice machine and housekeeping storage room. Starting at 4 am all I heard were doors slamming for the next 2 hours. In addition to loud neighbors it was far from a restful night. Everything was clean and nice, just felt like I could hear everything in the hotel.

Parking is the only issue... these hotels should start providing parking....
