Nice hotel, very accessible and close to downtown.

It was modern, clean and quiet. Only problem was on our last day, they worked on the pool and it was noisy. They said we should have been informed, but we were not.

The only standing in the way of a five star rating was our breakfast experience. We ordered a $30 breakfast for two (which seems reasonable for room service), but by the time all the fees and gratuity were added the bill came to $58! Wow charge that one up to stupid tax! Stay at this hotel but avoid the in room dining. Huge ripoff!

Very Exceptional hotel for the price

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!! It was that good..
This hotel was over the top in every way. They had everything you would ever need...great front desk service from Andy, Starbucks inside, great restaurant with very friendly staff, Beautiful and very comfortable room. Would definately stay here again and again if I am in the area

We loved this Marriott..the most comfortable bed.. comforter.. pillows ever We are going to purchase them from Marriott catalog for our home! Beautiful setting.. wonderful breakfasts & had great dinners there 2 nights We will be back

Concert at Red Butte Gardens

Incredibly friendly and extremely helpful staff. The entire staff including Jerika the Hotel Manager, the Operations Manager and the van drivers. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back....

Pros: Location
Cons: Clarify cleaning plan.
Location: Bakery down the street is GREAT.
Our room wasn't cleaned up one day. We asked, and received clean towels, but the attendant "couldn't take the dirty ones". "Just leave them in the hall". We did. Pool was nice. Comforters were awesome.

Pros: Location! Close to Emigration Canyon, Red Butte Gardens, the Utah Natural History Museum, the University of Utah. Good options for running too.
Good solid Marriott experience. Starbucks inside, nice airy lobby, renovated well kept rooms. Location is great if you're going to be on the east side of town

Pros: location to what we were there for
Cons: TV reception
I was very disappointed with TV reception. Only a few were digital and the most were analog and reception was snowy like the 50"s. I'm a news junkie and FOX Cable News was almost impossible to watch, not like a Marriott should be!

Stayed here the night before we had to be at the hoshospital. Close to the U, clean, and upscale.
