Great location

Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast should be included, especially if the ad says it is.
Location: Temple Square.
Booked through Expedia. The add mentioned complimentary breakfast, but found out that that was not the case. One had to have a coupon from the front desk to have the comp breakfast. When we went to the desk to get the coupon, they said that we only paid for the room through expedia, not including the breakfast, even though that was one of the advertising points on the expedia add. Needless to say, we were a bit disappointed. Decent hotel, otherwise. Clean room and great location.

Perfect location for a visit to Temple square

We were in town just to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert and the lights on Tempe Square. Our flight got us in way before check-in. The staff were more than kind about holding our bags while we walked around the surrounding area. The hotel is in a perfect location—close to two Trax stops, Temple Square and City Creek Shopping.

The staff was yo busy to care. The di ing was terrible, brunch ran out of food for $17!!!

Great downtown hotel.

Stayed here when going to Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert and Temple Square. Perfect location. We parked the car and walked to everything. Parking was free due to some construction in the parking garage. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly. Hope to stay here again on our next visit.

Parking garage is a disaster

Overall the Radisson is a nice hotel in a convenient location. However there were some significant issues that affected the quality of our stay. For some bizarre reason major parts of the hotel’s underground parking garage were being painted (in freezing weather!!) and much of the garage was blocked off, reducing 2-way traffic to a single lane. This was both dangerous and very inconvenient for guests entering and leaving the garage. Perhaps as a concession, the hotel waived the usual $10 daily parking fee. We had reserved a “superior king room” and at check-in I was told that we would have a room with a queen bed. I said that was unacceptable and instead we were given a handicapped accessible room. Not what we requested but we could deal with it. The bathroom was dimly lit and we quickly noticed that a light was burned out. I reported this to the front desk the next morning and again the following morning. It was never fixed during our 3-night stay. Another issue with the room was the constantly clanging water pipes, especially at night. This woke us up frequently. On the plus side: clean room and comfortable bed and pillows, very good housekeeping service, a nice little cafe/store downstairs to pick up coffee and pastries on the go, friendly bar next to the restaurant with good atmosphere.

Close to the Vivint.

Pros: Location to downtown.
Cons: Update the carpet or stretch it in the room so it does not look so worn.
The location is good. They were doing something to the concrete in the parking garage that would cause issues for those with breathing conditions. There was no warning until you got in there and could not turn around due to limited space. The edge and corners of the carpet in the hallway need cleaned better. We used the hot tub early in the morning since it was so busy the night before and the water was not very warm yet. The bed was comfortable.

Nice hotel close to downtown.

Convenient location to downtown, City Creek Mall and Tempe Square. Walking to these areas was not a problem.

Needs a refresh for the price

Maybe I just haven’t stayed in a hotel in a long time and overall quality has gone down while prices have gone up, but I expected a nicer room. It was a little run down (I admit that I am detail oriented), but totally fine and comfortable. Service, which is of course the most important thing, is excellent.

Very Good Hotel in Downtown area

Pros: Clean. Great Staff.
Cons: A couple of times during showering, the water temperature ran extremely hot (for about 30 secs or so) before returning to original setting.
Location: Lots to do. Close to Vivint center (where Utah Jazz plays and venue for concerts, etc) and symphony hall next door.
Visited around thanksgiving holiday. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very close to Temple Square Vivint center, Abravanel Hall, and a UTAH Trax station (convenient, but can hear the trains rolling by in the room).
